My husband and I drove from Colorado Springs to check out the great stroller collection here. I read some iffy reviews about service so I wasnt expecting a whole lot. I have to say that the staff was amazing. We had a lot of questions and took up a lot of their time (on a relatively busy Sunday afternoon) and they were great. They let us take the stroller out around the block, put it in our car, and walked us through demos of about 4 different strollers. We ended up chosing the UPPAbaby Vista which I cant rave enough about. Aside from the strollers and the service, the store is definitely more of a luxury boutique. Most people cannot afford to purchase the majority of their baby products here. However, I would absolutely go back for special gifts, treats for my daughter, or hard to find items. They have cute clothes from cutesy sparkly tutus to hipster onesies. In addition, their diaper bag and carrier selection had some good options. I will absolutely be going back for the wonderful collection of retro wooden toys. We want our daughter to enjoy playing with simple things that dont make noise and flash lights. I highly recommend this store for the service, quality of the products, and selection. Just be prepared that it is not cheap.

I just read a previous post and felt I needed to respond. I have worked extensively with Real Baby and know first hand that they are extremely liberal with their return/exchange/store credit policy. Ive seen them exchange an item that was in current production and still in original packaging that was exchanged well after the return policys guidelines I understand how overwhelming a new baby can be, however half a years time pushes the envelope for returning an item (even big corporate stores like Target only allow 90 days for returns) especially when it is no longer in production. Independent stores arent able to absorb the loss in re-selling a product that must be discounted because it wasnt returned within a reasonable time frame. In addition, companies routinely discontinue products in order to make style or functionality changes to an item. It by no means implies that there is something wrong with the product, only that they are remaining competitive in a very competitive market.

To support a neighborhood store, Ive been in both to shop for an expecting co-worker as well as to buy my first pregnant apparel ever. No acknowledgement as we walked in the store, browsed and purchased. Impatient sales clerk gave attitude when my husband wanted to know where infant item was but didnt buy. Definitely get the vibe that there will be no customer service unless you are buying big-ticket item(s). I thought it was just me, but clearly this is not the first time this has happened. And yes, customer service does make a difference, esp. for first-time parents to be who feel clueless just walking in.

Real Baby is one of the more unique baby/kid shops in Denver. Now listen, I dont have kids so thats saying a lot! John and Hilary Horan have curated a long-standing business that is a staple item for moms, dads and anyone who knows anyone with kids! We picked out great items for our grandbaby and grand niece that were a HUGE hit. The Ramones tshirt for my grand nephew went over like gangbusters and the "baby paper" is something that every parent needs.

Real Baby carries unique baby and infant items that are not only high quality but many are also made out of recycled material. The owners and staff know exactly where the products were made and what they are made from which many other stores are not able to tell you. The store is a destination in of itself but is also one of the great *independent* stores in the Highlands.

A great store for environmentally conscious people. Found some gifts for a friend who just had a baby. Asked the clerk for some items and they were able to provide recommendations. Didnt have specifically what we wanted, but alternatives were suggested which was very helpful. Love supporting local businesses.

Real Baby is REAL awesome! I love my little girl and I love setting her up with all the coolest baby hipster gear. The Highlands in Denver has to be the epicenter of the hipster movement and this little baby shop is located smack dab in the middle.
