Weve had nothing but bad experiences at this store from the moment we opened our registry to just this past Sunday. They have the worst customer service, a manager whos never around and can never show his/her face, and a complete disregard to customer needs. Our first issue started when we tried setting up our registry a few months back. I had already set up our registry online and had begun adding items when I decided to go to the store to begin scanning locally and to pick up the little bag they give you for registering with them. It took an employee 40 minutes to help me at the desk with a scanner and it was by far not because of a scanner/technical issues. The employee was arguing with someone on the phone about her relationship issues and had me sitting there while she sorted out who was cheating on who and when she was going over, etc. I took the scanner, (after she finished with her rambling) scanned 3 items, and left because I was frustrated and tired. An employee in charge of the customer service aspect of the registry called to ask about my experience setting up the registry and I expressed my frustration to her and explained to her what had happened during my visit. She said she would look into it. Our second issue happened roughly 2-3 weeks ago when I went to the store to buy a musical mobile that had been out of stock for several weeks online and in store. I received a notification that they had it in stock and immediately rushed to the store to get it. When I arrived and couldnt find it with the rest of a collection, I asked an gentleman there to please help me locate the item. After several radio calls to who knows who, he told me that their system showed 3 in stock but that because they werent with the rest of the collection, I could walk around the store and look for it. He then took off to clean the aisle he was working on when I asked for his help and didnt offer to help nor look in the back! Nothing! After looking around for a while, I decided to just go to the front desk and place the order online. Little did I know that I was better off placing the order online from our registry on my walk back to our car because it took the young lady helping us at the registry desk about 40 minutes ordering it! I can say this confidently because I was texting my husband back and forth about the order while she was placing it and it was about 45 minutes that she had me sitting there! It was a simple order directly from our registry and she took longer "helping us" than what I currently take during my doctors visits. It was INFURIATING! A few days after this incident, my mom went to the store to inquire about making a payment on the credit card. The employee that was "helping" her started laughing and mocking my mom telling her she was wrong because they couldnt make a payment there. My mom began asking about payment options (which is why she went there to begin with on her drive home) and the employee kept laughing ad telling her she must be lost and that she couldnt help. My mom was so upset and asked to speak to a supervisor who once again said, "she would look into it." To top it off, we went yesterday to use our 10% completion coupon which we JUST received this past weekend in the mail and were told that we couldnt because we used it on 11/18. The funny thing is that we JUST got it and the validity of the completion coupon says effective 11/29. The two ladies were very nice (for once) and gave us a $5 off coupon instead. Its truly upsetting that this is the ONLY one stop shop in El Paso for baby needs because their customer service is HORRIBLE, they are all always dragging their feet to do ANYTHING, nobody is attentive, theres always only 1 register open, no manager in sight, and every trip to this store has been a hassle. We can never just go in and out with what we need without having a 45 minute "consultation" with a rude employee. I am so disappointed that a store such as this one is in such bad shape with no strong leadership/employees. Online shopping from this point on.....

this babies r us is amazing, we had our first baby 6 months ago and their still letting us exchange stuff that has broken. we got all we needed right before our baby was born one of the things was a jogging stroller, after about 3 or so months we got a hole in the tire (el paso has stickers that put a hole in the tube) we went in and they took a tire from a display stroller and switched them out with no problem, we also returned a baby moniter recently after it stopped charging it was 6 months later and they still gave us a new one, a newer model one too. also they are so amazing with doing money off of a purchace, one of our returns we did during veterans day weekend and they actually returned the item and then gave us the discount on the return and we got money back, they also give you money off in the mail and you can pile them coupons up and they will honor them, they are so awesome I definitely recommend people to use this babies r us, plus they always have great things in stock and the employees are so nice and helpful!!!

Absolutely horrible service. So glad to have other options for baby gear. The manager was just as useless as their cashiers. Couldnt get help for someone to tell me to log in to my registry and scan items with my cell phone. I had to wait for the lady who works in that department and was with someone instead of the cashier who was helping no one on a Thursday at 11am. The registry worker advised the cashier that it would be a minute because the older gentleman had many questions. So I was able to stand and wait for 15 minutes until I decided I really didnt need them. With other stores and online shopping Ive been covered. Thank you online retailers.

Im sure the company itself is fine however the employees at this particular store dont have adequate customer service unless they are supervisors. 4/5 times I go in, the employees who are not supervisors are incompetent and not friendly. I changed my phone number and have seen them input the new one many times however it still is not changed. I like this store but this location needs better employees.

Hard to find staff in the sales floor for any assistance.Two staff members failed to provide demo on Bob revaluation stroller when requested. staff badly need product and communications skills training .When compared with customer service levels and product knowledge of staff of Babies R Us Dubai where I come from El Paso store is no where close by.Sorry guys you lost a sale.

How can a place catering to children and expectant mothers have such low quality toilet paper? These women are carrying out future leaders lets show them more appreciation.
