Compare Carrots to Carrots. The initial consultation was wonderful and left us feeling secure in our decision to hire Mcnulty Jewelers. We had the owner make a custom wedding band to fit around a ring that had been in her family. We also asked them to appraise the ring. However, the ring was never appraised and the communication between company and customer was subpar. They are friendly people but the customer service was poor. We had to call to check the status several times and we were never informed when the custom band was completed. (it took us to contact them again). When we called they acted like they did not know what ring we were talking about. Then they checked around for a bit and finally found our product and ring. When asked about the communication breakdown, lack of appraisal, and poor customer service, they had no response. I give them 3 stars but I will not recommend them to others. Nor will I be providing them with more business. We hate giving sour reviews but you should know we are pretty disappointed in such a small/ local jeweler. I would expect this from a box chain but not from such a small business.

I went to McNulty Jewelers to get a $100 bracelet i had sized down. The first time i went in, i wanted to find out how much it would cost and how long it would take. the lady was not very nice at all, and she basically took my jewelry, sized it on my wrist quickly, and didnt ask if i wanted them to fix it, just assumed. then told me it would be ready in two weeks and will cost $80. So i went in two weeks later and the bracelet was so small it wouldnt even fit around my wrist. so then they the same girl said itll cost another ten dollars and its going to be another week. I told her i wasnt going to pay another $10 because its so expensive already. so i went in the next week and it fit pretty well. a little difficult to get on but i was happy with their work. I loved it until last week when it broke! They tried to make me spend $90 on a resize on my bracelet that ended up breaking. Will not be coming back here, I tried to support local businesses but it seems they dont have the best work. Thanks.

Definitely five star service. You deal directly with the owner/jewelry designer. Not only did he give me professional advice about my repair, it was done by the afternoon. He cleaned all the jewelry I was wearing, appraised an old ring I had given to me by my grandma - also commenting on the need to repair a piece of it so that I didnt lose any of the stones. This will be my ONLY jeweler - especially for repairs and custom made items.

We brought my vintage wedding ring (my grandmothers) in after a big name jewelers had ruined it. The owner was so good at fixing what was wrong while staying true to the original style, treating the ring like an art piece. Its so beautiful now and you cant even tell that work was done on it - the additions he made look like the original. I am so impressed with McNultys and highly recommend them to anyone.
