We have been customers for several years. We purchased my engagement ring, wedding set, and my husbands wedding ring there and recently returned to purchase a custom ring set. We initially met with Shara, who refused to listen to what I wanted and pushed the Levian ring. We left and returned to speak to Kevin. Kevin did a great job listening to what I wanted and got everything ordered. Well, after 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I call to find out Kevin was no longer with the company and I needed to speak to George. George admitted to "dropping the ball" and not giving us a call sooner and then we learn there is a problem with the order. Needless to say we had to drive back to the store and approve the new ring order. Finally feeling satisfied, the ring was ready to pick up 2 weeks later. George stated the new rings were 499.00 and not 699.00 and the prongs were of better quality, which we viewed under the microscope. We had paid for 90% of the purchase up front including the warranties and when I went to pick up the rings and finalize the purchase, George told me he would have to charge me 501 instead of 499 because it would adjust the ESP price. After I told him no that he said the rings were 499 and it was not my fault that he had to adjust the warranty cost, but we should be getting the warranty for the cost of the ring. He made several comments regarding the fact it was only a two dollar difference, which made the buying experience very uncomfortable for me. After leaving, I was hopeful I would not have to return except for my bi-yearly inspections. However, less than 3 weeks of owning the rings, a ruby fell out of the "better quality ring and prong setting" we purchased. I went in and Brian quickly apologized for the issue and took care of getting the ruby replaced. When George called, I expressed my concern about the integrity of the purchase and questioned if we got the actual rings we paid for since they were supposed to be of much better quality and within 3 weeks I had already lost a gemstone. George made it clear he could not do anything else for me and I could expect it to be ready in 3 weeks. Over the past few years, Jareds customer service and overall quality has significantly decreased. I would not recommend them to anyone, especially if you are looking for a stress free purchase. We will return just to get our rings inspected, but we will purchase elsewhere. I have rewards dollars from our recent purchase, which we were going to use to buy my husband a new wedding ring; but after this experience, I will allow them to expire even though George told me if I wasnt going to use them I could sign them over to the store for another customer to use--appalling.

My husband paid a significant amount for a beautiful wedding ring for me here, and now we wish he had bought it elsewhere. The ring needed to be resized at first, and they kept it for a couple of weeks to do that (right after getting engaged, it was disappointing to not have my ring to show for that long). Unfortunately they didnt resize it correctly and it took another week to get it right. When we got it back, the diamond had moved to be crooked and off-center! So they kept it for another couple of weeks to repair it; and until my husband pushed to get it back, they were not going to have it ready in time for our rehearsal/dinner! They wanted us to pick it up on the morning of our wedding! To be fair, they gave us a $250 gift card to compensate for the incoveniences (as if we want to buy more from them). Fast forward to a year later, and the weak structure holding the diamond actually snapped off. We took it in and were told it would take 4-6 weeks to fix. When we hadnt heard from them 6 weeks later, I called and found out they had received it at the store from corporate, but felt it hadnt been fixed to their quality standards. No one had bothered to tell us that the ring would take another 6 weeks to be repaired correctly! So in the year and a half weve had the ring, its been "in the shop" for 4 months without much communication or apology from Jared. This time they offered a $100 off coupon for a $300 purchase; are you kidding? Our compensation is that we get to spend more on yet another defective item to hassle over having fixed?? Oh, then they offered a $50 gift card... With the money they made off our purchase, the experience has been simply unacceptable. We expected more from what we thought was a reputable jewelry store.

***Beware...these people are not honest and will try to scam you. The diamond got knocked out of my wedding ring so I took it to Jareds, hoping to get it repaired. (I have been there before to have to have my rings rhodium plated). After waiting forever, they gave me a laundry list of things wrong with my ring and wanted over $400 to fix it!!!! After laughing really hard and having wasted nearly an hour of my day, I took my ring and left. Thank goodness I stumbled across a fantastic jeweler, The Guilded Artisan. I took my ring in (and didnt tell them I had been to Jareds.) First of all, the people here are wonderful...not like the used car salesman mentality at Jareds. They took my ring and examined it closely, but it didnt take an hour. It took about 10 minutes. They found none of the damage that Jareds said was there....no cracks, no loose sapphire, no need to rebuild the prongs. The stone just needed re-set, and they even re-set it a little deeper so that the diamond wasnt sitting so precarious. It only took 3 days for the repairs, and I was only charged $40!!!! I went ahead and had my 2 rings and my husbands ring rhodium plated during that time as well. That was also less expensive than Jareds. I walked out of there paying a little over $100, to include the Rhodium....NOT $400+ for repairs alone. Moral of the story.... Go to The Guilded Artisan...they are wonderful and honest!

My husband brought me here to pick out a LeVian piece for my anniversary gift. He usually works with a particular salesperson but we found out she was off for the day. Two salespeople immediately recognized him and started to bombard him with questions on what he was looking for. They pulled out a 16k LeVian for me to try on even though I told them I didnt like it. Then, they refused to pull out the two pieces I wanted to try on. All they wanted was my information and promises to come to their LeVian show in June. I told them I would not be giving them my information since we already have a salesperson but they made it very clear that they wanted to be the only ones helping me. Then they tried to get our information from my husband who was busy talking to to the manager about their behavior! By then, I was too overwhelmed to pick out my gift and left the store. I found out later that the reason why they were so pushy was because they tried to get in on the big sale of my custom Neil Lane my husband purchased recently. Even though this store has been amazing in the past, they have lost our business permanently. I am not keen to having money hungry salespeople bothering us every time we come in to the store....I want CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband ended up calling LeVian. Now the piece I wanted is being delivered to another store they recommended in the next three days.
