Ive had gold chain repair done here and the work was very good and reasonable. It is nice that they will clean your rings for free, etc. The staff are nice. However, I brought in a watch to have a mechanism replaced and wasnt really satisfied. They had to send it to a partner in Colorado Springs, which is fine. I approved it and the replacement was going to be more than the watch originally cost. That is fine too. It is a sentimental item and that was my choice. I was a bit surprised when I came to pick up the watch that there was no attempt to clean it at all. The glass bezel had dirt and particles inside and the metal band was clearly in need of simple cleaning which would have been the obvious finishing touch. It was frankly dirty and didnt set well with me. They know how to clean stuff here... so I was just put off by that. The watch was cheap... originally maybe $70 and I paid about $120 to have it repaired. At least they could have cleaned it. They do that with jewelry. I cant take the watch apart by myself to clean the inside of the bezel. It was just disappointing.

They always help me with what ever service I need. From sizing rings to changing watch batteries. If you need your ring cut off because of pregnancy or if your fingers are just swallow they will do that to! The staff is really friendly and willing to answer all my questions. My famliy has gone here for generations and I will make sure I keep it going with my children. Thanks Armstrongs!

The incompetence at this place is laughable! I was doing some additional customizations to the wedding ring I designed and discovered that if I want someone capable of listening to directions and someone who is even half way polite, I need to find another jeweler.
