I wish I could give this a zero star rating. First off, I have not had this canopy for a year yet, and it has shredded and bent IN THE RAIN. It wasnt a heavy, windy rain either, it was a light spring rain. Naturally, my husband and I were upset, and were fully willing to pay for replacement parts (although normally, home depot is great with free replacements). So I call the home depot Hampton Bay replacement line to see how much this is all going to cost. I thought I could get a cost estimate, and either order parts, or just get a new canopy. Basically after a discussion with a wonderful girl named Danna, I got transferred over to a parts and service rep, who started reading off some prices of how much it would cost to me, and then she says "Oh wait, can I put you on hold for a minute?" I say yes, and she comes back and tells me I need to email all the parts I need, and then they can get back to me with a cost estimate. I asked why and am told that Mondays and Tuesdays are for warranty issues only, and she cant tell me the prices to save time. I then ask her if the numbers are right in front of her, and she says yes they are, but she cant tell me them. I now would have to waste more of my time emailing the same things that she already knew and had pricing right in front of her for just to have that company waste more time pulling everything up AGAIN, and telling me. Aside from the fact that this policy is absolutely absurd, and that the lady wasted more time talking to me and adding more inconvenience for both parties to the situation, I cant believe that Home Depot could actually treat customers like this. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HOME DEPOT AGAIN BECAUSE THEY ARE INCONVENIENT, AND HORRIBLE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. I will be telling all of my freinds and family about this as and encourage them not to buy from Home Depot as well. I told this to the lady I talked to and told her to tell her manager the same thing. Altogether, a horrible product to wear like that in a light rain, and a horrible customer service experience=a lost customer for life. Verify your review

I dont write many reviews, but I wanted to give a shout out to Eppy in the hardware department. We had just left the store when our wedding gift to ourselves, a large toolbox, went all over the highway due to poor strapping down methods by some young kids who worked there. We have been financially tight and the feeling of losing something weve been working towards was the worst. We didnt know what to do and when I called them to tell them the story, Eppy and the customer service told us to come back and they would take care of us. They replaced it with no hesitation and made sure that everything was ok. Usually when you have a bad day after you leave, you have to fight to get back any justice with stores. With this, there were no questions asked and we never felt so relieved. I know that I can count on being taken care of the right way at this home depot. Thanks!

Home depot is on point 4/5 The trick here is the staff. Its like every other home depot, except they remember me. They remember the project Im doing. At self check out the lady recommended I grab an item I had overlooked for my job. It was nice. I know a handful of the employees know me by sight. Which is refreshing. I dont feel pressured ever to buy the pricy stuff. Ive had the cart guys see me struggling to load my car, walk over and over to help. They helped me break down a BBQ and load it to not damage my vehicle. I had them load bricks for me 10 minutes to closing. An individual sat with my second bricks for 20 minutes after closing, and then load them into my vehicle when i got back. They were super helpful

Went in for light bulbs & replacement weather stripping for our front door. The female behind the paint counter seemed annoyed while I was asking about a particular light bulb and answered by saying "Look on the top shelf over there." Which wasnt helpful. Moved on to weather stripping, & while walking passed appliances saw three maybe four employees hanging out. I asked where it was & a male answered with an aisle number. Take into account that I work retail & know how walking into a store is suppose to go. Its not that hard to walk your customer to the area & answer any questions they may have. This is both annoying & can be avoided.

GREAT Job, Managers... Quote : I asked a bunch of family members and friends and neighbors. They all donated, the Home Depot in Brighton at the Prairie Center donated some pipes and screws," Jace said. "Some boys in my troop came over and we had kind of like stations to build them." "Specifically what Jace did for us, which was a really big help, he built some of the bigger dog beds that we didnt have before," said Brooks. "The larger dogs that we have now, now have a place to rest." Awesome to see you helping the community thru these types of efforts, lead by an Eagle Scout. Bravo‼️

The service in this store is terrible. My husband went to get some boards. There was no one in that department so he walked around to find someone. When he found someone and asked for help the guy told him that he would send someone over to help him. 15 minutes later when no one came, my husband left empty handed because he was sick of waiting. Our friends experienced the same thing. Bad service and increased Prairie Center tax isnt worth it. Make the 2.6 mile drive over to Lowes off of Bromley Ln, its worth the trip.

They have good customer support, they will answer all kinds of questions. The most recent question I asked was how to get rid of 4 cubic yards of dead sod, an answer to which the internet was not being very clear about. They confirmed my suspicions that there simply was not a good way of doing it. But the point is that they are great at answering questions.

Alanna is by far the best Home Depot employee I have ever encountered. She saw me looking at blinds and immediately came up, answered all my questions, and cut my blinds perfectly. Usually, at Home Depot you have to hunt down someone to help. It was nice to have such an exceptional person help me out.
