Some of the worst customer service and communication Ive ever experienced. First we were told that it would take 10 days to get the parts for our espresso machine, then they changed their tune and said two months, and THEN we were told three months. THREE MONTHS to order parts?? Ive never even heard of that kind of timeline! They have terrible customer contact, and you should expect to call them if you want any kind of information. They canceled my order (without contacting me) and claimed that my husband, who is deployed and doesnt have a phone, told them to cancel the order. UGH. Even after all this, theyre still charging us full price and had to reorder the parts because they canceled the original order which will take even more time. They had my machine for a total of FOUR months, and didnt seem to care! When I was finally able to go in and get my machine, I was completely underwhelmed. Its dirty, smells terrible, and is completely cluttered. AVOID this business if possible.

I dropped off my Sanitare upright Vacuum because it needed help, the height adjustment stopped working and it needed a belt, bulb and bag also. I got it back and the height adjustment still doesnt work. Another recent case was about a lamp that needed repair (new cord I think) and when I went to pick it up the gal at the desk noticed the cord retainer on the base of the lamp wasnt all the way back in position so she grabbed a pair of scissors and was point first trying to beat the thing back in position.....I told her to forget it. This place has gone downhill in a big way and I guess Ill be looking for help elsewhere. These tasks are so simple but since I dont have hands anymore I have to depend on this kind of business. Yucch!

My vacuum cleaner was giving up the ghost. I thought about just going to Target and getting a new one, but I decided to bring it to Nelson Appliance to see what they would say. The fellow there was extremely helpful and patient, and when he told me what it would cost to repair my old one, I asked what new vacuums he could show me. They had a factory refurbished Bissell with warranty that was exactly what I was looking for and just as cheap as a big-box store. And if I have problems in the future, I can come back and actually talk to someone about it. Boy, am I glad I spent my dollars with a long-time local business instead of sending my money out-of-state...and great and informative service on top of it! Happy customer!

I am so glad that someone still repairs small appliances! Weve had several things repaired by Nelson over the years, plus they are a great source of unusual parts. Most recent: a rechargeable electric razor whose battery was dying. Why spend $100 on a new one when for $10 it can be good as new?! Great, fast, friendly, knowledgable service. (Personally, I believe their response far more than the rant from the one upset customer. They are about as far from "terrible" customer service as I could imagine.)

Had an espresso machine that I loved and the pump went out. I shipped it to Nelson, they replaced the pump, and had the machine back to me about a week later! Their service was fast and professional. So glad to have my espresso machine back and functioning - so much less expensive than buying a new one! LOVE LOVE LOVE small shops that are great at what they do. Youd be nuts not to at least consider using them.

Amazing. I was actually out of state and getting no where with my local Breville support center. I went down the list of others in the country and came across Nelson. Within minutes they helped me with a problem that I have spent a week trying to solve. If they are this good for someone out of state I can only imagine that they are far superior to others face to face.

I was so impressed by the quick and friendly service I received there today. I brought in two vacuums that were not working properly and received them both back, completely fixed, in 5 minutes. The cost was a very small fraction of the price of one of the vacuums. I highly recommend Nelson Appliance Repair, and will be back next time I have an appliance problem.

I appreciated the free check, to determine if the item was fixable. They were prompt in letting me know what the problems were and explained in a thorough way whether or not the issue could be fixed. When the issue was not fixable, they offered to recycle the item for free. The entire experience was professional and courteous. I would certainly go back.

WORTHLESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO START YOU HAVE TO PASS THROUGH A CLOUD OF EMPLOYEE SMOKE JUST TO GET IN THE DOOR !!! In addition Ive called upon them multiple times and they have never had the part, or dont work on that , or cant get a part ... etc .... Im done trying to support this little guy!

Great customer service. I called Nelson Repair just a few minutes before they closed, knowing if I left home right then, I would not make it in time. I needed a part that day, and they stayed open for me. I got there 5 after close, and got the part I needed. Thanks guys!

For years, Nelsons has been repairing my appliances. Im a big fan of Dyson vacuums, but when they have problems I take them over to Nelsons Appliance Repair. They do great work and provide exceptional service at a fair price.

Not many places like this left. I owe my vintage Hamilton Beach blender with the Pyrex glass container to them. Ten Bucks! Wow! Far better than the new models filling the shelves at Target and Wal-mart.
