i would give this horrible company 0 stars if possible. i have been trying to buy a car from this guy for 2 weeks. first he tells me someone bought it after i drove an hour to get there. then he calls me the next day saying the guy returned it and i need to get there and buy it and ill get a great deal. hears whats not a good deal.My pregnant wife went there with the understanding that the guy had already told us that we would get 5500-6000 out of our trades and the price of the car was 13995. after she arrives there he tells her he doesnt want to trade any but he will be nice and give us 2500 for our trades. so we were lied to by a very large amount but he was fishing and didnt sink the hook with me. after my wife said she didnt think that was a fair deal he said it was and WITH OUR DOWN PAYMENT MONEY on the table se told us he got a 1000 more offer and didnt want to deal with us. when my wife said thats fine we dont want to pay 4000 more than its worth this guy had the nerve to throw the down payment money at her face. my wife is 51 and 90 lbs being 8 weeks pregnent and he he really had the balls to throw the money at her and make her cry. family owned or not this guy is a worthless human and you should be aware that he is the scum of all used car sales. VERY WORTHLESS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY HE PAYS FOR GOOD REVIEWS im sure also after i posted this he calls me leaves a voice mail saying he contacted the sheriffs department about me harrassing him. the harrassment was done by him by assulting my wife with the money he threw at her. if this is harrasing him then he should have an assult charge

First off, I am a legit customer and this is my real name. I purchased a vehicle from them a few years ago and had a good sales experience. Some of their cars come from Florida so as winter in Colorado hit, a couple of things popped up. My washer fluid froze my line for example. While they were willing to fix it for me at no charge, I did get some major attitude for asking. I was late for my appointment and before I could even apologize, the owners son scolded me like a child and said he was busy now and couldnt do it. I stood there in shock for a moment but Luckily the owner saw this and told me to just leave the car. And Yes, this really happened. I appreciate them fixing the problem but the attitude almost cancels out the generous act. I didnt have any issues with the vehicle except Within a few months of purchasing- I took it to be inspected and found out I needed the rack and pinion replaced on one side. Thats a major job that I couldnt explain since my car had less than 40K miles on it and was never in an accident. I took it to 2 other mechanics who confirmed the same thing. I dont feel like the dealership was being deceptive but maybe a more thorough inspection of their inventory would have shown there to be a problem. I asked the dealership about a repair and what I was quoted was the same amount the corporate shops would have charged. Unfair considering I bought it that way from them. Guess that was a missed opportunity to earn 5 stars instead of 3. All in all, Ive had both really good and really bad experiences here. The customer service from a two of them could definitely be stepped up.

In February of 2016 I purchased a 2008 Honda CRV with low mileage and a clean record. I read the reviews before heading there and I can with honesty that anyone who is complaining about them being overpriced is being an a-hole. They specialize in older model cars with extremely low mileage as most of their inventory comes from retirees in south Florida, hence the low mileage and the vehicles havent been driven hard by any means. I paid a fair price for an 8 year old car that had the mileage and wear of a 3 year old car. The buying experience was quick and painless and I can confirm that they stand by their work, even though youre buying it as-is. Recently, now that its July, I turned the AC on for the first time and didnt get cold air. The 2008 CRV is notorious for burning out the AC Clutch due to a poor design by Honda. I should have checked it before I bought it, so thats 100% on me. I called to ask about it since during the sale I asked about the AC clutch to see if itd been replaced yet since I knew itd need it sooner or later and they said they never had a problem with it. I called today about it (5 months after buying) and they were very reasonable about it. They wanted to know what my mechanic quoted me to repair it to make sure I wasnt getting screwed and they offered me a free freon charge since it would need it. This is service above and beyond what they needed to do since I bought it as-is. I highly recommend Griffin Automotive and my CRV wont be the last vehicle I buy from them.

The dealership has had a certain car listed on their site for 15k for at least the last 3 months, as I started searching right after someone ran in to me and totaled my car. After the recent hail storm, I finally got a chance to drive down from the high country and was hoping the hail damage wasnt too bad. Never mind the hail damage, the guy tried to play it off as if they brought it down to 15k after the hail damage. Little did they now I had been watching the car for months but the guy honestly tried to pull it off as if that was the reduced price. Looks like they are keeping the insurance payments to themselves and dishonestly claiming they are having a hail sale. Look at that pathetic response from the dealer! Yea you lowered it 2000 after the complaint, just showing i was right...you just admitted you lied to me face about bringing the price down and then try to response negatively towards my comment. Sorry you cant admit this happened and what pot of gold? I would have bought it at 2000 less but you refused to admit it wasnt originally listed at 18000 or would you like to say you brought it down 5000?

The family of Bob, Bill, and Bob Jr. of Griffin Automotive are truly extraordinary dealers. They have no fees, and dont play title holding games or any others. Its selling cars as straightforward as can be. Even more important, they stand behind what they sell, before AND after the sale. Not because they have to, but because they believe in doing the right thing and want you to be happy with your vehicle. If you have problems or concerns with your purchase, they address them, straight up. Bill and Bob Jr. are great techs and do most of the work on the cars they sell, and if they arent in a position to take care of something themselves, they will promptly commission the work to be done for you. They really do strive to have satisfied customers, and it shows plainly. If they have something you want, I wouldnt bother looking anywhere else. Their integrity and trustworthiness is surprising and will not be surpassed. With all the shady dealers out there, this ones an unexpected and pleasing gem, and you can take that to heart
