I have done business with them before. At that time, it was great, because my credit was totally shot. I couldnt get a car from anywhere else. That was a couple of years ago. Less than a month ago, I decided to trade up into something a little bit bigger with 4-doors. I thought I was lucky because there was something on the lot that didnt look run into the ground & had fairly low mileage for a 2001 (under 100K). I test drove it and the only issue was that the AC wasnt working... No big deal. Not even two weeks of me having that car, I had major transmission problems. I called the warranty department & they gave me the numbers for a couple places. I decided to bring it into the Midas thats across the street from the dealership. After the shop did a diagnostic on my car, it seemed to be something very simple. The only thing was to get the warranty department on board. Then started the game of Cat & Mouse. Needless to say, my car has been sitting at the shop for longer than Ive had it... Only because people pussyfoot around and not do what they are suppose to do. This is a fix that shouldve taken ONE week at the most to complete. Since my car is still in the shop, all the information I get about it is usually from the mechanic, not from CarHop, nor any affiliate. I like how a rep from UAC calls me to assure me they they will pay for the car being fixed. YOU DAMN RIGHT!!! A major issue like that from a car I had for less than a month is totally your responsibility. What they should do is knock off, at least, the three week I paid for not having a car. I just shouldve saved up some money and bought a car off of a third party, like some random stranger. The quality probably wouldve been better... I was gonna put two stars, but as I was typing this, it just made me more mad...

Came here with my partner to replace our totalled car. Our credit aint perfect. Only came in specifically asking how the program worked and what the monthly costs would be. They rushed us through the application process first. We felt that getting a sale was more important than our concerns and questions. Spent several hours between two different days. Our income was more than enough to get in to a decent car. We test drove the first car offered. It was not a good deal. It was damaged in several areas. They mentioned that we might have to go to Denver for something that suited our needs. Then a 07 Honda CRV with 154k miles on it ($11600 sticker) all the sudden became available here on their lot. It had a couple of issues that needed to be fixed before we were going to sign the paperwork. Finally after the 2nd day and 2nd test drive, we wanted to know what the final numbers were going to be. We were told they could give us a ballpark estimate but not an exact price until we signed the agreement. Considering what we were told and then what the numbers produced were in no way near to each other. $17000+ for a 10 year old vehicle. As we laughed at the amount that they were trying to charge us. We literally rode up the street to Phil Long Ford and found a much better deal and way better customer service for $8000 less with much better terms. Definitely recommend that you take any prospect vehicles to your own mechanic before purchasing. Patty and Julio are alright, but they didnt want our business apparently because they sure didnt really want to help get us in a vehicle. I advise that you definitely research your options at other places before you sign on the dotted line here if you have to.

If I could I would give minus stars...... I went to the Colorado Springs location after being told and sent text messages that I was already "Approved". After arriving there I had to fill out the same application that I did online. After waiting there for litterally hours trying to get approved, while​ incurring all sorts of computer related issues and not being offered as much as a cup of water. The sales person Jose lost interest in helping us and proceeded to move on to other people and even stopped acknowledging us. Finally after insufferable waiting we got help from what I believe to be the only competent employee there, the branch manager Patti at first front desk (poor woman was swamped) and she assisted us in finishing the paperwork. Finally Jose was semi-interrested again and told us that they had approved me, (never told me for how much or even gave me a choice of a vehicles​) he just said " hold on Ill bring "it" around" and walked away. I felt like walking away immediately but after all that waiting I stayed to humour him.... But the joke was on us, here Jose comes with this old purple looking monstrosity, with no hub caps that as a 40ish year old woman I would not drive or purchase for my 16 year olds first vehicle. I immediately told Jose no and ask what else they could offer, even offered more of a down payment and his reply was " this is the only one with a title that we have right now". WTH with a title, so none of these other cars have titles???? Anyway I would not recommend going to this company unless you feel like wasting hours of your time, with a rude salesman in a dirty environment.... Thumbs down, no stars, lies, a wasted day and games was all I got.

Carhop on South Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado is the best absolute place to go if you need a vehicle. All the staff is very professional, honest, and actually care to see you in a vehicle as fast as possible. I didnt think that I would be able to get approved, but the wonderful staff at Carhop made it possible. Mrs. Tina is where the conversation all started and throughout my car buying process she has been and still is an angel. James is the gentleman I talked to as far as how everything works at Carhop. He took his time in explaining everything that I needed to know. He really worked hard to get me approved. The down payment that I made was really really reasonable, better than any deal in Colorado Springs and the Denver/Pueblo area. Everyone at Carhop is truly committed to seeing you drive in a vehicle as fast vast possible. The vehicles dont just look nice, but they run very well. There is no making the cars look fancy for show. All the vehicles are in good shape, and all staff is very honest about what the vehicles may have encountered, (which is not much). The branch manager is also a God send. Mrs. Patti could have easily turned me down, but she did not. She is very sweet. And because Mrs. Tina and James believed in me, so did Mrs. Tina. Everyone at Carhop is a close knit family that cares about each other and their customers. Again all the staff at Carhop is incredibly awesome, so if you need a vehicle please stop by Carhop. Im still in shock that I have a vehicle. That I am able to drive off the lot today with my car, where most places would have turned me down. Come on down to Carhop! What are you waiting for?

Patty was sooo nice. Even though I initially walked away from my first pick. Came back and received excellent customer service. These guys are great! :) Update: the car I bought has had issues since I took it off the lot. Today, the battery died and I had to literally argue with them and explain to them how it is their responsibility to fix it since they sold me a faulty car that doesnt work. I am a single mom and I specified that I needed a reliable car. That is definitely NOT what I got. They were not willing to tow the car to the lot to get the battery changed and kept telling me that I am not accepting their option which is to take it in and wait for them to fix it. Meanwhile, I am on foot and my kids are going to start school soon. I cant afford to do that. This is exactly why I asked for a reliable car. I had to threaten them with litigation and tell them over and over again that its their mistake and their job to fix it in order to get any resolution from them. If you dont desperately need a car, I would never suggest you shop here. Horrible customer service and they obviously think people dont know their rights. Too much trouble just to get them to change my battery so I can drive my car again. Two weeks guys! Thats the timeframe it took for my car to break down. The roters need to be replaced because they are messing up the shape of the brake pads, the speed sensor needs to be replaced and now the battery is dead. :(
