Not happy with them. Just recently had my 12k service. Got an estimate of max $850. That was the reason why drove 50 miles to have them do it. When I was collecting the bike they changed me $1080. 250 more than their max estimate. They didnt use any additional parts or anything. Yet, charged 30% more for no reason. I happen to be a programmer for VW service center internal applications in Germany. I know for fact that services like this are well defined by manufacturers. Time and material. I think they cheated on me. They never called me to let me know that it will cost more. I was just there and had to pay. I warn you to make sure you know what you are getting in to. Ill write a complain to BMW too. They were nice people but not honest. On top of that. At the end they came with recommendation to adjust the chain.!! How come they didnt do the adjustment ?!! They charged me $250 more and didnt even do the job they supposed to. My bike was BMW C600 sport. I hope they pay for what they charge me more otherwise. Be aware.

I had my 2009 BMW R1200GS Adventure serviced here last month. First of all, it cost less than estimated. Also, it cost less than the estimate I received from another dealer. The job was done timely and the tech guy (Kyle) explained what he did. That was very professional and job well done. I went there agin today to replace a light bulb and have them assist me in installing my tank bag. Again, they went out of their way to provide service for customers. I value that greatly. I am taking my bike there always. At Diablo, they really care about service and quality work. Thank you

I went to BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco, they have a lounge with a big screen TV. I was impressed, and anxious to get to the door. Everything that I was bothered about BMW, pretentious, boring and vapid. Diablo Kawasaki BMW is nothing like that. An old-style motorcycle shop with a limited gear department and plenty of used motorcycles. I bought a used 2007 GS 1200. Originally bought new from this shop and serviced until the motorcycle was put up for sale. Good price, great customer service, fantastic experience. I expect to be a customer for a very long time.

bought my first bike here, was very happy. they dont carry much accessories, which limits negotiating. but they dont fluff their prices either. Its an hour drive out of my way to get here, but I saved $1000 on dealer prep and freight than if I had shopped in hayward. On a $4000 bike, thats a big deal. I dont know if that makes these guys really good, or the hayward dealer really bad, but either way I definitely recommend coming here instead. note: their google maps listing says they are open monday, but their website says they are closed sun/mon

If you are looking for an honest mom and pop (really) motorcycle shop, this is it. Richard and Sam man the counter, very knowledgeable and friendly. This is not a boutique shop in any way, shape or form. They sell motorcycles, parts, and fix them. You will not find clothing, helmets, or anything like that. I have been going here for about 10 years. Quality work, fair prices, and no BS. They have gone out of their way to cover warranty work on my bike. I would not take my bike anywhere else to be worked on.

Very professional, and hard-working. Excellent service staff. They look out for their riders and are more than fair. They work quickly and efficiently. I will take my bike nowhere else. Sam gave me everything I needed and clued me in on a couple things to keep my eye on without trying to sell me anything. They are fair, conscientious and a pleasure to work with. I got the best deal on my new 2010 S1000RR. $1000 less that what other dealers quoted me. Negotiation was easy and friendly. Sam is a cool guy. He even gave me a lift home when the insurance fell through. The only thing they need to do is make the dealership more pretty, but I guess this is why their prices are better than the others. I dont know how their parts and service departments are, but i will definitely update this as soon as I go through my first service.

Ive been doing business with Diablo for years. Theyve serviced both my BMWs and my Kawasakis. Most recently I bought a new Kawasaki Ninja ZXR636 from them and the experience was relaxed, no pressure, helpful in my decisions. Once I was ready to make a decision I made most of the arrangements to buy over the phone. Always extremely helpful in sales, service and parts departments.

Nothing better than getting a quote for "$300, maybe $400," dropping the bike off, and coming back with a bill for $915.30 as they hold your keys hostage. I thought BMW was above the whole sleazy mechanic thing. But I was wrong. Do yourself a favor and save a few hundred dollars by going to a private shop.
