Dear Martin, I have had a new 2016 Roadmaster for about 3 weeks and 550 miles so far. As you may recall, this not just my first Indian, this bike is my first air-cooled V-twin cruiser. So with that said, I believe I’d like to offer you my feedback and insight. Over the years, I have owned many motorcycles. Specifically there were two BMW’s, two Suzuki’s, two Yamahas, two Kawasaki’s, a lone Triumph and about a dozen Honda’s, including two different GL1800 Goldwing touring bikes. Although I’d tried at least two other major cruiser brands on test rides, none of the models I’d ridden enamored me enough to actually consider spending money to acquire one. Riding your Indians changed my mind. Though I’ve barely scratched the surface of the Roadmasters full potential, I am ready to state that without a doubt, this is already the most enjoyable traveling bike I have ever owned. The machine itself is impressive – so much so that it garners far more attention than I am used to. The fit and finish is exemplary. It is in essence, rolling artwork. I fully intend to enter it in bike shows as is. Also of note - unlike other machines I have owned - everyone in my family wants me to take them for a ride on this one. Even my wife has decided she will take a ride when the weather warms! The handling is quite remarkable, particularly given this is such an ample size machine. I really have to work at it to make the floorboards touch down. The balance is incredible, and it loses weight rapidly as it gains speed. At 10 MPH it’s at least 100 pounds lighter and by 50 MPH it has lost another 100 pounds. The motor is powerful and the acceleration is quite substantial – something I really appreciate on the freeways here. This is the first heavyweight bike I’ve owned where I feel like I actually have one finger braking capability. I am still getting used to a cruiser seating position but I have to say when I left my home in the 40 degree weather this morning and remembered the seat heater switch, it took no more than a couple of miles for me to proclaim that seat as the most wonderful stock seat I’ve ever had. The heated handgrips were comfortable and I only had them on level 5 of the 10 possible. I continue to find new and subtle features that impress me - even the owner’s manual is highly detailed. As impressive as the Indian itself, I want you to know that Spirit Motorcycles has been incredibly supportive in the handling of my sale. From the inception of our discussions about if such a purchase was financially possible for me to execute - to the selection of useful options and warranty selections - to the first service completed yesterday, please note I have had nothing but top notch service and attention by yourself, Shaye and your team. Toni and John took on various details of taking care of me. Both Jeff and Vanessa in the service department were personally helpful in answering questions and taking care of the bike. Mark has been nothing short of extraordinary in how quickly he handled the sale of my old bike which you so graciously took in. Clearly I would heartily recommend both your shop and your product. This purchase from your shop has been an incredible blessing all around and I want to be certain you know that. Many thanks, AJ Jensen

What a great pleasure to work with Martin (President of Spirit Motorcycles) and his dedicated team! I have just purchased a new Triumph Bonneville T120 from them as they recently added Triumph to the line of brands theyre selling after Indian, Can-Am and Slingshot. The whole purchase process went easily, as they are willing to work with their customers to make sure the needs are met, and all in an extremely friendly atmosphere. My motorcycle had to be brought from SoCal, and delivery was delayed. Even though it was not fault of Spirit Motorcycles, but the transport company, when they realized that they are not able to meet their commitment of bringing my bike before a long weekend, they offered me to ride their demo T120 until it happens. Thats a stellar customer service! As soon as you come to visit their showroom they greet you like a friend and encourage you to try their bikes, sit on them, and if you like any of those they are quite open to let you test ride one of many demo units they keep. At the same time they are not pushy to try to make a sale right away. I really wanted to purchase my motorcycle at a local shop, from people that I can trust because at the end it needs to be serviced regularly, and if I had to ride far away each time, it would be a real disadvantage. I am really happy Spirit Motorcycles is nearby, and my experience with them so far was nothing but great.

I have 38 years of experience riding motorcycles. In those years I have bought my fair share of bikes from dealerships around the country. I have never experienced such a great dealership like Spirit Motorcycles in San Jose. Martin and his team are awesome. It is not just about the sell with them. From the time you walk in the door they treat you like family. Even if you dont buy a motorcycle from them, they will still welcome you to ride with them in the riders groups they sponsor. It is about the love of motorcycles. If you do buy a motorcycle from them, you can count on them to be with you from the time you purchase it, but accessories, service your ride, or if you just want to stop buy and have some coffee and talk. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. Stop by and see Martin, Kevin and the rest of the Spirit team. You will not be disappointed.

I just recently bought a 2016 XC Magnum after working with John and Martin. They made the buying process painless, quick and pleasurable. Out of the several bikes and cars Ive bought in the past, my favorite dealer is officially Spirit Motorcycles. I can only speak for John and Martin since I did the transaction through them, however, every staff member I talked to at that store was respectful and made me feel welcomed. I am definitely going to purchase more bikes through them and possibly a sling shot just because the people at that dealership. I always say, "the vehicles are the same no matter what dealer you go to, but the people are what help you enjoy having the vehicle after youve purchased it."

This place is awesome, I have not purchased a bike from here yet, but I absolutely plan on it. I currently have a Ninja 300 as my 1st bike, and stopped by this place which is near my home. Right away I was greeted like an old friend, sales person John was super friendly and asked me what Im riding, and was authentically enthused about talking about riding. He offered me a no pressure test ride on a Indian Scout and a Victory bike. I had an absolute BLAST! These bikes are amazing, looking forward to a future purchase. Cool showroom, friendly and knowledgable staff. If you looking to buy a bike, this is the place. Ill update after my next purchase.. :)
