Nice staff, but they have some trouble with priorities. My bike has been getting some more difficult work done and has been there a week longer than quoted. Every time I called it was pushed back. It seems they would rather knock out people who need oil changes and tires before a customer thats been out his bike for much longer than anticipated. Im a patient person so I may give them another go in the future, but not for bigger upgrades. Realize what youre getting into. UPDATE: Finally got the bike back and they did a fantastic job. Still keep in mind how long they might take, but dont guess that theyll do any less than a great job. .....4 months later.... UPDATE 4/10/17 for second repair. I got into another accident where someone merged into my lane knocking me down. Anyway, I got the bike fixed but this time its taken 6 weeks so far. They replaced the rear sets, handlebars and crank case. The new handlebars made the highbeam trigger go under the clutch, when I asked them to adjust it they moved the clutch lever down instead of the trigger up because it was easier for them. Now I have uneven levers, when before the bike went in it had the same protaper handlebars with the trigger and clutch in the right spot. The gas tank is where it gets even worse. They have ordered a now third gas tank because the first one shipped from Japan to new york then here over the course of a month, then found it was the wrong color. The second one was magically available nearby, why they needed to order the first one if there was one nearby is beyond me. But all thats moot because the second tank was dented on arrival. So now Im on week 6 with a still damaged bike, waiting for parts from Japan, having spent over $2000, paid for 4 Ubers and everyone is acting like this is just normal. Ive had my cars engine taken apart and rebuilt in less than a week at a car mechanic. Why cant a motorcycle get simpler repairs done in reasonable time? Im so done with this place. Big mechanics like Wheels in Motion dont care about you, stick to independent shops.

Everyone here is the soul definition of " Above And Beyond". These guys helped me out in every way possible to get me my parts as quickly as possible. Its a little out of my area. But I was experiencing some major delays and wrong parts with other places such as; Thousand Oaks Powersports and Simi Cycles. I gave both a very specific list of parts I needed (15T front & 48T rear sprockets (520) and a 520 130 link chain) for a power upgrade. Both failed miserably. Recieving wrong parts and/or telling me to wait a week (I didnt have a week). Wheels In Motion went completely out of their way to assist me. They understand sport bikes a whole heck of a lot more than the other places I mentioned. I got everything the same day... DUDE! What better service could I ask for?! They are super patient and straight to the point. Even if theres a hiccup on a manufacturers end. They do their best to fix it and still try to get you the part(s) right then and there. Whereas other places will be lazy and tell you "Sorry. Youll have to wait". Grant it, its not always going to be like that at Wheels In Motion. Some parts will have to be shipped. But these guys understood my dilemma. They wanna beat the other places and they are. The other places need to be more like this. Hard working, non-lazy and motivated to help their customers and to keep them coming back. Cause as well all know. We want the best. To Wheels In Motion! Thank you for getting me back on the road days before my big trip. From here on out. Youre my Go-To shop. THANK YOU!

Wheels in Motion is an excellent place to be if you love motorcycles. I was an owner of an R6 and really enjoyed taking it through canyons, but as I have gotten older my time out in the canyons has diminished. I originally headed into Wheels in Motion with my Girlfriend to see about getting her a bike upgrade. Her 300 was quickly outgrown. I also was debating a used bike too. Unable to afford a toy like the R6 and a useful bike I ended up Trading in my baby for a newer more cruiser style bike. I was really concerned with not upping the investment on a bike and was browsing around. Hugo was helping my girlfriend out with some Kawasaki bikes and saw that I was checking out the FZ09 and the Super T (tenere) and showed me around to a few other bikes I might like after talking with a me a bit about my current bike and my worry that an upright bike may be lacking in power. I eventually settled in on the FJ-09. A good looking bike with plenty of power and excellent handling. It also has the option of putting on cases for cargo. After my first ride I was in love. I fully expected to miss my little R6, but the comfort and power of the FJ-09 has had me completely satisfied with the purchase. I feel like Hugo really took the time to understand my wants and needs. Hugo loves bikes and is very friendly and willing to share his passion for all styles of bikes. If you ever want to just stop in and talk bikes with someone just head on over to Wheels in Motion. Caution: you may start by talking and head home with a new bike.

I Like this Place a Lot! I recently bought an FZ07 here. Best Price I could find anywhere in So Cal. The Sales Manager (J.C.) sold me the bike and set me up with Financing I could afford. It had been 10 years since I rode a street bike, so I also Geared up in the Accessory dept. Selection was good and pricing was comparable to, or better than, other places I visited. I just tacked my Gear onto my financing. I just finished the Break In period and took the bike in for servicing. The Service Department got me in & out in about an hour and I got to Talk to my mechanic! Now, keep in mind that the Service Dept is a busy place and they dont have time to share your Life Story, but its nice to ask a couple questions and get a few answers from the guy who actually turns the bolts on your bike. Its been my experienced that most places hide their mechanics away and you only deal with a Service Manager. In Summary: This is a GOOD PLACE. The People who work here are friendly and knowledgeable. It is a Busy Place, but they will take the time to answer your questions if you take the time to wait your turn.

I bought a used bike for $6500 a few months ago as well as a helmet. Being a new rider they provided me no insight or help in picking out a new helmet. So I had chosen a medium size Arai on my own after only being asked "how does it feel". After owning it for a few days I realized it was a size too big and would move around a lot. I tried to do a simple exchange and they denied me one. The helmet was in perfect condition and only been worn twice at that point with no signs of usage at all. It turns out they had a no returns policy on the helmets. I was not aware of that policy and had failed to ask as I had assumed there would be at least an exchange policy. Every other motorcycle acc. store Ive asked has at the very least an exchange policy. Considering I had purchased both a motorcycle and helmet from them you would think they could have helped me with an exchange. Especially since they new I was a brand new rider and provided me with no assistance in how to best find the correct fit of a helmet.
