If I could leave this with no stars I would. Before I state anything about this place, I will start by saying, I am sure the owners will respond to this stating I am lying and making all of this up. Thats what they would say every time we called just before they would hang up on us. They dont want to hear the complaints about their products, they just want the product out the door and your money in their pocket. They dont want to follow up, they dont want to satisfy the customer. With that stated, heres my experience. I bought a fridge from them for a rental house, the owner told me that it was purchased from a store, it had been a floor model that had been dented. Ok.. sounds legit. Gave it a look, everything seemed fine (although it wasnt plugged in). Made the deal and had it delivered. Our new tenant moved in a week later, a day or two later, my tenant is calling to say the fridge is leaking. We call to get them back to repair, It took two days of calls and being hung up on to finally get an appointment. We waited for the service person to call about arrival time, never came, only to find a voicemail from the store stating the driver didnt want to drive in the traffic because it was so bad (REALLY??). So had to reschedule for the next day. Never heard from them again, called to find out status, to learn they had come changed a water line and left. Fine.... all fixed. That night tenant called again fridge still leaking. Called the store the next day, despite being calm and trying to work out a deal, the owner started to scream and would hang up on us. Then the woman who works there got on the phone started calm then started accusing me of making up things about the problems, then she hung up on me as well. After several attempts that same afternoon to call them back, apparently they have caller ID and didnt want to answer, so I gave up. We knew they werent going to listen to the problem anymore. That night went and bought a NEW fridge. Know that at Lowes or Home Depot you can buy brand new appliances with GREAT warranties for the same price this place is charging for used, broken equipment. Also know during the phone call I tried to understand why they sold a fridge that would need repair, at which point they admited they dont have the set up to test if these appliances are actually in good working order. And if you do go through with the purchase, read the invoice. NO RETURNS NO REFUNDS so once that appliance lands at your property its all yours and you are out the money spent even if it breaks under warranty it appears. Sorry for lengthy read - but just want to warn before you even consider driving to this place.

My first review because people really need to know what they are dealing with here. I Will try to keep this short. Waited 2 days for my fridge to be delivered. It was never delivered and I as strung along by the management and told lie after lie. I was treated extremely rudely by the management and when I asked for a refund I was hung up on. When I was finally offered a refund the manager said his co-worker was at the liquor store and to call back in 10 minutes (this was 12pm). I called back and with slurred speech the woman tried to give me a refund but charged me another $300 instead. I called back and the women (now even more drunk) said she called the credit card company and took care of it and I informed her I needed a $382 refund. She said there was a $30 cancellation fee and I said "No I didt cancel. You never gave me the goods and services I purchased" and she hung up. I have been refunded $300 (her mistake when she tried to give me the original refund) and have not been refunded my original $382 or even the $352 she believes she refunded me as Im sure she is too drunk to realize. Now working through the credit card companies fraud department to get my money back. The people who work here have zero regard for their customers time and money. I hope they get the help they need so nobody else is victimized my their wonton disregard for others. My advice is go to Lowes and get a cheap fridge. They have free delivery so with that its basically as cheap as this terrible excuse for a business.

I came in to buy a fridge washer and dryer I found a fridge I liked but no washer and dryer that was worth spending. I paid $1000 cash oh he charged me $90 for tax when I did him the favor and paid cash... He told me they would deliver and "hook up"... Im thinking when he says hook up that includes the water and ice maker. I mean anyone can plug a fridge into the wall. The fridge gets here and they place it and tell me in an hour plug it in.. cool. Water not working I found out they didnt bring the hose or install it. Fine I went to Home Depot found out what I needed and did it myself. It still doesnt work I call to let him know he has an attitude and replies did you read the warranty? No you gave me a receipt and said "sign the receipt" Never mentioned a warranty never mentioned they dont guarantee water dispensers or ice makes so why even sell those type of refrigerators for $1000!!!!!! That dont work? Ive shopped at many second hand stores and they make it clear before a purchase this man just wanted to sell me stuff so bad pressuring me to buy miss matched washer/dryer or ones that looked super refurbished and broke down should have known then not to purchase anything!!! NEVER AGAIN. And none of you should even waste your time or consider!!!! Go to KIMOS APPLIANCES instead thats where I found my washer and dryer its in van Nuys the guys are real cool there and most importantly HONEST!!!

The arrogance of the buyer is unreal. I came in to try and sell a 9 year old Kenmore 500 series gas dryer. Now before ever coming to the store I did some research and called pretending to be a buying customer. Told them that I needed a gas dryer and what is their price range. At this time I was told that their cheapest dryer is $175. So when the buyer asked me what I wanted for it I responded $75 ,figuring that was very fair, leaving them a MINIMUM of a $100 profit, keep in mind this dryer is in GREAT shape and worth a lot more. After telling him what I wanted he just said "THEN GET IN YOUR TRUCK AND LEAVE". Talk about total disrespect. Still wanting to be fair and business like, I asked him what he would give for it. His response in as follows " $20 tops, the Damn thing is 35 years old and probably wont work". WHAT A PUNK After leaving this rats nest, which by the way is missing several ceiling pieces so their merchandise is getting rained on. Probably why nothing works right. I placed an ad in Craigs list and within an hour and a half I got a very satisfied buyer who I gladly delivered and installed for them, even stuck around to verified that it works good. The same unit that they offered $20 on I quickly got $135. Thanks to Van Nuys Appliances complete disrespect for your customers, I MADE MONEY... NOT YOU. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST
