Might be fine another shift, but manager Alfonso and cashiers Tatiana and Chandra were extremely aggressive and insulting on my last visit, so much so that I am reporting them to corporate and despite my rescue and established business there I will be switching to PetSmart. I was in just before close to grab my usual haul. They made their usual closing announcement, so I looked over at the registers to see if I had another second to check my purchases before jumping in line. There was a lady there with a lot of stuff to scan, and the aisle I was in was about four steps from the register, so I stayed for a half a second when the manager walked up with aggressive energy and insulting tone "Mam, the registers will be closing any second! You need to go now!" Rocked back on my heels, I walked the four steps and said, "Well, here now, so we can calm down," when the other lady wasnt even close to done checking out. Tatiana took me on another register. I had six packages of food in my arms, which she didnt offer to help with, and when the biggest bag flopped loudly onto onto the counter she said tersely, "Thanks for throwing that at me." SERIOUSLY?! I should have just walked out of the store at that point in hindsight, but I asked for her name instead. She spat it at me, told me Alfonso the managers name (the only helpful part--saved me from asking at least), then the cashier at the next till, still not done checking out the other lady in line, chimed in that shes Chandra, further escalating the whole. affair. "What? He cant tell you to go because its course and we have places to be?!" If that was the case, I wondered why she didnt finish checking out the customer she already had instead of heckling me? And Alfonso came up to make sure I had his name too. This was at 9:05. I have the receipt. Now, I certainly dont want to keep anyone unduly long, but with all the fuss I still made it before the other lady. And if five minutes is worth all that insult, then they should just say politely, "Sorry, registers are closed, please come back tomorrow." And I would have. But now Ill never come again. I spent a lot of time as a small business consultant and Ive worked my share of less-than-glamorous retail, but in every shop I worked in we were kind to the stragglers who were clearly trying to exit promptly because we usually made $100-200 in the closing minutes. Worth 90 or so seconds, dont you think? I felt so belittled I intend to return what I did purchase (at a different location) just so they dont have my hefty purchase, then Ill go someplace else where both my person and my dollar are treated with a modicum of common decency.

This is the WORST PETCO I have ever been to! I was waiting 20 mins to pick up my dog while two groomers were doing absoulty NOTHING looking me square in my eyes! I assumed the manager who was helping an employee was the only one who could check me out. I was shocked to see one of them rush over to help/greet a customer who walked in with her dog after I had been ignored. ALL infront of the grooming manager. I finally spoke up and when the customer apologized to me for what she thought was a "jumping the line" situation, the employee said "I was just being rude". I was shocked and insulted. Just when I thought it could not get any worst i called the GM of the store just to give feed back. First the employee said she wasnt there and wouldnt be in all day. Then after I left my name and number I asked when she will be back and after a hold she gets on the phone. I then tell the manager what wasw told to me and expresses with what I took as an attitude, that she in on a conference call and in the middle of something. Then when i tell her it was a situation in the grooming depatment I wanted her to know she tell me she is busy and will transfer me to Grooming. REALLY????? A General Manager {Felicia} who is too busy to hear a customer is the worst thing a company could have. Needless to say as a business owner I made sure that the District Manager was informed of my 1st time experience in that store. I will never go back again. Too many people are looking for work for employees to be rude to those who are patrons to a store that needs us to pay their employees!

I took my shih tzu a month back to get his haircut. I told them I wanted a trim on him. The "stylist" I believe his name was Milo told me he was going to give me a 25% off, so that would give me a free nail trim and something else. When I got there to pick up my dog. I was shown the bill and that they didnt have no more coupons for the 25% off. I ended up paying full price that came out to $80 something. I was ok whatever, but what seem odd is that I wasnt allowed to see my dog until I paid. My dog came out looking like a bobblehead. They shaved him. I wanted a trim not a shave! His tailed was fan out when I dropped him off. They ended up shaving that too. Please if you love your dog do not bring them here. The worst haircut and by the looks of it. It looks like all they know is to shave a dog. And not an even shave. My shih tzu hair is growing out, but patchy

Worst experience at a Petco yet!! We just moved here from San Diego and we have always had great experiences at Petco. But not this one!!!! We took our dog to get groomed in which we had an appointment at 10:30am and like always they said they would call 3-5hours when she was done! At 3pm which is 4 1/2 hours later I went in to check if she was done! The groomer Anna (who I found out to be the manager in the grooming department) rudely said it hasnt been 5 hours yet and they have until 3:30pm. I was shocked so I left and came back at 3:30 and my dog was still being groomed! She wasnt done until 3:45pm! To make the story short, Anna was completely rude with terrible customer service and we will never take our dog to Petco again!!!

You become so leary of these big chain pet supply places you know what I am talking about? You know leaving your dog and people mistreating them and all. Some places my dog diamond when I pick her up shakes a little because she is nervous but at this joint my diamond is relaxed and barking happy to see me. I have had a few groomers missed appointments and have dropped my dog off late and picked her up late. The Percocet reps at this location accomadate me and make me feel like a movie star. If they not helping me locate the food my dog likes or restocking those great t-shirts. Diamond loves her Dodger jersey by the way. I just want to thank the staff there it is always a pleasure going to Petco. 5 stars mofo!

I took my husky in for a flea bath and she cam out trimmed from all over. We never asked the groomer to trim anything. He used the Furminator on her and a clipper. The difference on the coat when we picked her up was like night and day. He had no reason to trimmed the top coat, he also stated this.."you want this to be done to your dog, specially in summer". He has no idea what he is talking about and he does this for a living. DO NOT TAKE YOU HUSKIES HERE!!! THEY WILL RUIN THEIR COAT. They dont know how to work on double coated dogs, they think all dogs are the same. By the way he was an assistant manager, go figure.
