The people working here have a real hard time being honest. My daughter and I went in this morning and asked if someone had placed a hold on a certain dog. Told no, we then agreed to buy this dog. My daughter then spent 20-30 minutes discussing the dog with the staff. We then said we would buy the dog after finishing breakfast next door. In the meantime, they sold the dog to a old woman. Upon learning of this my daughter burst into tears while the seller working there asked with nice smile on her face if we were interested in another dog. These people are very dishonest and dont have any integrity. They possibly believed that they are doing smart thing for their business, hoping to sell 2 dogs instead of just one, but in reality they lost us as customers for life.

We bought our puppy ten years ago from Village Pets, a cockier spaniel. She is the smartest , best tempered dog Ive ever had. Since then we have bought our bunny, bird and bearded dragon from them. Sue and Amy Lynn have been so helpful for all our pet needs. I often need emergency supplies for a baby bird or squirrel rescue, they have counselled and given me so many things over the years. They are the only ones I let groom our dog. I always buy my pet food there, if they are out they give me samples to get me through. It is so fun to have a pet shop downtown and see all the puppies in the window , I also think we should support our small downtown businesses whenever we can.

UNSANITARY! Complete Nightmare! I purchased a puppy from Village Pets. It ended up getting very sick 2 days after I brought it home. After hundreds of dollars in vet bills I found out it had a cyst and a lung disease. This is very common in puppies that come from puppy mills and are not kept in sanitary living conditions. I truly believe that the owner knew the puppy was sick and that is why she offered to take $100.00 off of the price. After three weeks of trying to get the puppy well she passed away from severe lung tissue damage. My family and I are all devastated. I wanted to let people know so that this does not happen to anyone else!

I have gone to the this pet shop since i was a little girl, and when i wen into the pet i felt comfortable, and knew that i was getting a good animal from this pet shop. i went into there today, and the feeling that i got was really cold, and the two heavier ladies that were there just were no help at all. i also noticed that the puppies did not seem very health, in one window there was a puppy with kennel cough, and in there other there was a puppy with a huge hernia... why would i want to go somewhere when they can not even respect the puppies... NOT NOT SHOP AT THIS PET SHOP..... YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY.

I know for a fact that this pet shop does not get (at least) their dachshunds from a puppy mill. I adopted my doxie from this pet store early 2008, and back then the breeder was more involved and I actually met her first. My dog has been happy and healthy ever since .The woman who works there comes off as cold but I think thats just how she talks, she actually does take good care of the dogs. The shop itself isnt that great looking, but the dogs are healthy , as far as when I was there.

We bought both our dogs from here and were very happy with the experience. They did not pressure us and they even explained some things to us as well as answer any questions we may have. They give suggestion if you ask and even it you did not. They are so very helpful and friendly. The owner is very knowledgeable and so are most of the employees. They even answer questions even when you dont buy anything. It always a wonderful experience to go into the Glendora Village Pet Shop.

I called to see if they had something I needed. The lady was very friendly and took the time to actually look. Some stores will not. After reading the reviews I wondered about calling or going but figured I would find out myself.

I took my dog here hes very little and it is the worst hair cut I have ever seen!!!! They didnt cut his belly and the hair on his back is completely UNEVEN, and he was there for 5 hours! I will never EVER go back!

I got my wonderful dog here. It was crowded cause it was spring break. we got two poodles. They were a lot of help. especially the owner. all the dogs are from a purebred animal. Highly suggest you go there!

We took our dog here and she came back all chopped up. Some parts of her hair were long and some were short. It was like they didnt even care. I will never bring my baby here again.

Loved the staff, they were so wonderful with my two huskies. My dogs looked and smelled great, Love them and for other breeds that are not shed crazy I would recommend.
