Ive been coming to this place since I was a boy, now at the ripe age of twenty I find myself comfortable with writing a review. Theyve moved a few times since and its always been a good experience despite the location. In my numerous visits throughout the years Ive never witnessed any poor animal treatment, in fact Ive seen this store go the extra mile for their animals. In the summer they provide frozen water bottles for all the animals to ensure they can at least have some level of comfort in the heat. The people there generally seem nice and involved. I get asked if I need help as I wander around by a number of employees, not that I enjoy it (being the kind of person I am) but its nice that they ask anyway. In my history with them the employees are fairly knowledgeable for first time pet buyers, this was the case when got my rabbit here. The lack of uniform makes for a good employee customer relationship in my opinion. I feel as though Im talking to a real person rather than a suit. I dont expect them to have veterinarian level knowledge, that would be ludicrous, but theyre useful for basic level issues. Pet Supreme is a small chain so prices may run a little higher on certain items than other stores. However, I enjoy supporting smaller businesses and sometimes you can run into a sweet deal on food or other supplies. It lacks the whole PETCO vibe, but its in a warehouse and it honestly serves its main purpose: to provide supplies and animal companions. I guess it comes down to the kind person you are when it comes to this store. Generally I feel most people would be alright coming here, but then again pet ownership is also known to attract a more.... lets say... distinct type of person. To whom I would say, give it a try if for some reason you have the hardest time in the world buying supplies or getting a new life to share yours with unlike everyone else. Then go wherever else your heart desires but dont demean the place for your own faults.

As a salt water hobbyist i was taken her by a friend who raved about amount of fish they have. At first glance it was obvious to me that they had high prices on a lot of there inventory while lacking quality. Great price for live-rock except its actually dead and uncured. Pros: They have a lot of what you need in stock. Especial parts and equipment that you may need in a hurry without having to wait for shipping (although be willing to pay $3-$10 more for this.) Variety of items to choose from! They do get some very unique live stock that could be a great addition to your aquarium if you catch them on a good day. Cons: I did notice one fish with ich and 3 dead Anemone floating in the tank and when i pointed it out to an associate he just said they would take it out by the end of the day (I came back 3 days later and they were still in the tank.) I noticed they pored about 30G to 50 G of Fresh Water over the Coral and invertebrates that were for sale, I told the so called expert there about how it causes stress and could potentially kill their inventory but they didnt seem to care (I can only assume its because it would get sold soon and didnt matter to them if they died after they were sold). *Warning* if you buy salt water live stock from this store know how to look for signs of sick fish and how to tell the health of Coral and Inventories... Also be prepared to quarantine your fish prior to admitting it to your aquarium.

I really like this place; they have a good selection, my Royal Canin dog food is just a bit cheaper here than Petco... the only problem is the hours. They are TERRIBLE. Closed on Sundays? Closes every day at 5? There is no way I can leave work and get home in time to get to this store, which basically means I can only go on Saturdays, as long as I go early enough. It seems that they must lose a lot of business during the week -- so many people have normal business hours and cant leave work at like 3 or 4 in the afternoon. That is very disappointing. However, I will say that the service is VERY good. I was buying a betta fish the other day, trying to decide between containers and choose between two fish and I swear I had about 10 people ask me if I needed help. Then when I finally picked my fish and checked out, the girl who rang me up told me everything I needed to know about how to care for my betta, just casually as I was paying.

They have a great selection of dog and cat food, toys, chews, really everything. One of the best Ive seen, including Pet Smart. Their prices are very good and they often have store specials on cat and dog food. The staff are extremely helpful; they ask if you need help if they see you trying to decide on a type of food or whatever. Their product knowledge is also great. I have a parrot and they dont carry any of the food that I like for him but it is pretty high end and usually only available from a bird store or my vet. I have no idea about the other critters they service, ie fish, little furry rodents etc.

I love that I can purchase my dogs food here and no longer ordee it online from chewys. Its easier for me to buy it then to wait and then have to get another dog food product that makes my dogs stomach senstive.They also have great.customer service which is better then other pet stores I go to like Petco. I gave it a 4 star because several products ,unlike the dog food that is same price everywhere, they sell are expensive. I only buy the dog food here bit everything else is cheaper at other stores or online.

Ill start with the good. Selection was awesome I finding things there than most shops even specific aquarium shops do not carry. Cons aquariurim section although stocked with a very good selection of fish tanks were a bit dirty and not well taken care of. Fish looked healthy enough. Except the one I chose which was my fault wasnt able to see bent spine at store. But he seems healthy enough in my tank. The plant section was particularly green with algae. Aquarium staff were not particularly helpful

No different that PetSmart but knowing and suffering yourself from this bad heat were having, every single animal that they have are panting from lack of fresh water, no food, pet cages are filthy. Animals in the back are being stored like book self holdings, no ventalation. Its horrible to see. Its not hard to keep in mind that just as hot as on is driving from home to work and back is very hot, those animals are suffering from neglect and thurst, muggy horrible heat in the facility.

I went with my boyfriend to buy rats and the experience was horrifying. It was terribly unclean and all their rats in the display were either sick or infested with mites. There was a mother rat with its babies sleeping in her pee. The staff was obviously uninformed about rat care. we had bought 2 seemingly healthy rats (not from display) and one died 2 days later, while the other had breathing issues.
