Very unhappy. So I went to the store and got a demo. Excellent. Went home and browsed the catalog, finally deciding on exactly what I wanted. Called the store, spoke with the saleswomen, and she took my order. As she read it back, she had added the sleepIQ. I told her, I didnt want it. I was very clear on this, that I was not interested. She tells me that it automatically comes with the bed and they simply turn it off wirelessly if I decide against it. It isnt uncommon for products to be manufactured with features that are simply not activated. Software especially. It is often cheaper to just manufacture it all the same then simply not activate features. She was very clear on this. So, when I spoke with the shipping department, to set up delivery, the rep went down the list of items to be delivered. When she got to the SleepIQ, I made it understood that I didnt want it but the sales woman said they all ship this way. "I dont understand why she said that," the rep said. So I cancelled the order. There are only two possibilities here. Either the sales woman doesnt know her product or she simply lied. Either way, it speaks poorly of her. Deceitful or stupid.... I dont know. Nor do I care. It is a very poor way to start off a relationship with a company. I think it is a good product. I know that it is commission based pricing. I dont like saleman. Ive done sales. Sales people are manipulative. But to flat out lie... this crosses the line between "I dont trust you" and "Dont talk to me" I will be buying the bed. I do need it and I was impressed by the product. I just wont be buying it from her or in Vacaville.

Trying out beds and making a purchase took a very long time. When the bed was finally delivered 2.5 weeks later it took forever to get set up and all the electronics to work. I was really excited about the sleep IQ system but it DOES NOT WORK!!!! It records my "sleep" during the day when Im at work and does not actually record the time when Im in bed! If you even sit on the bed to tie your shoes it starts and stops you "sleep time" for that day!!!! The sleep IQ is worthless, DO NOT be duped into purchasing it!!!! Reported the problem to customer service and still have not even received any kind of contact. Very disappointed in this part of the purchase. The mattress is good though. Just dont spend extra on any bells and whistles they are SO not worth it.

I wasnt smart enough to look on the Internet before I made the purchase. There is a ton of info on the Internet about promised delivery, but none occurs. Apparently they have been using the "new computer" excuse for several months. The customer service department never answers the phone. I paid $5000 for a bed that never arrived. Get this, the store in Vacaville is not authorized to issue refunds. A dissatisfied customer must go through customer service before a refund is issued. I filed a dispute, via VISA, so hopefully I will get my money back. WARNING, WARNING, WARNING, do not buy a sleep number bed unless you want to be ripped off!!

They spent a great amount if time Explaining the features of each bed and style. They were patient as my hubby asked a 1000 questions. We did by a fabulous Sleep Number bed. Thank you for all your help.
