Of the 4 times Ive bought a car from a dealer this was hands down the absolute best experienceive Ive ever had. I had recently wrecked my 2013 Subaru BRZ and went to Shingle Springs Subaru to check the price of the newest version of the car. On my first visit they looked into it and had the same color 2017 BRZ due to arrive in a couple weeks. They offered to put my name on it to hold it for me while I decided if I wanted it or not. I never felt pressure that I had to buy it right that moment and they didnt try to put me into another car. I thought it over, did more research, and a week later I came back for my second visit and said I wanted the car. I know the car well and told them what Id pay. They then gave me a printout of the final numbers with taxes and said it would arrive in a few days. I was very eager to get the car so the next day on my way home from work I stopped to see if the car had arrived. It had just arrived and was still covered in the plastic wrapping from the delivery. We handled the paperwork and I signed all the documents. The finance guy did a great job being quick and to the point with a process that seemed to drag out at other dealers. I showed up right before they were closing and the car wasnt ready for me yet. I was promised it would be ready by noon the next day and I left with the owners manuals to read. The next day I was texted with the progress they were making on the vehicle. I showed up at noon and my car was looking perfect. Then someone sat in the car with me and showed me all the new features and how to use them. She was super friendly and answered any questions I had. I drove it to the gas station so they could fill it up with gas and then I was done. In total my 4 visits equalled less than 3 hours. Everyone was super friendly and easy to talk to. Absolutely no stress. Great communication. Usually after buying a car from a dealership I am so fed up with them I vow to never return. I had such an easy experience I will absolutely be back when I need a bigger vehicle in a few years. Oh and also extra points for the free Starbucks coffee machine.

Brought our subaru forester after the rear caliper bolts fell out on the way back from Tahoe on 50. The caliper separated from the disc and rendered the brakes useless requiring downshifting and ebrake to stop and park the car safely. The car was at a previous subaru dealer for oil consumption issues. The rear brakes were 10k miles about 2 years. 451 miles after that multipoint inspection and oil change the caliper falls off. Extremely suspect that subaru identified the non subaru pads but not the missing or loose bolts that could have resulted in a deadly accident. They failed to show any sympathy for the event. Back to shingle springs to pick up the 1k repair out of our pocket for a previous subaru dealers mistake. Picked up the vehicle and they rushed us out. No explanation of repairs beyond the brief info on the work order, the gps nav unit was completely reset with no detail of this on the word order. Driving on the freeway i cant go over 60 mph because if a horrible vibration coming the rear of the vehicle which should have been identified during the road test. I called the dealer immidately to make note. I will have to tow my vehicle back to sf because it is unsafe like before to drive. 2 different dealers failing to find issues that should be seen under their supposed multipoint inspection that claims to give peace of mind. My suggestion avoid all subaru dealers and dont buy a subaru of any kind. I will be submitting a 3rd complaint to subaru corporate relating to these dangerous outcomes from their mechanics.

I was terrified of buying a new car because I didnt want to be pressured into anything or sold anything I didnt want. Working with Shingle Springs is how car buying should be. We negotiated over the phone a few days before we went in which took the anxiety of showing up to a car lot completely away. I showed up ready to buy a vehicle rather than ready to go to war. Everything was easy. Randy was fantastic over the phone, Wayne was great at getting us all set up, Claire was phenomenal at teaching me about the features of my new car and Jon was great in finance. Never once did I feel pressured. If I said no to something or had a question, I wasnt met with hostility or slimy sales tactics. My concerns and questions were all addressed honestly and respectfully. There are at least 6 Subaru dealerships withing a 30 mile radius of where we live and I would never hesitate to send anyone to Shingle Springs. They showed me that buying a car shouldnt be stressful or anxiety inducing. They have a customer for life with us!

Our Subaru had a recall for the passenger side air bag. Shingle springs is the closest dealer to us. My wife made an appointment and took the car in to have it taken care of. Later on my wife met me for lunch, as soon as I got in the car I noticed the airbag now sticking a quarter of an inch out of the dash board very obviously not installed correctly. I called and spoke to the service manager who told me to bring it back and like I told him we live over an hour away and have a new born and this was very inconvenient and asked if there would reimbursement for fuel... He then told me he would speak to his boss and call me the following morning. Never heard back from him. Took it to our local Subaru repair shop and took less then 10 mins to fixed and was not charged for it. Anyways one star because I had too. Airbags are dangerous and this could have harmed my family. So Horrible customer service the technician should of never sent a car out like that and I feel more should of been done to satisfy us.

Excellent!!! We purchased a Subaru Legacy Limited a couple of weeks ago and needed additional help understanding a few of the technical devices. We have come back to the Dealership a few times and Claire Barnett has taken great patience in assisting us. We are "old school" and these computer devices are difficult for us to comprehend. Claire was extremely knowledgeable as well as extremely personable! Her consideration for making sure we understood and were pleased with our visit cannot be praised enough!!!! Also, Tim Gonzales, the Internet Manager, was the first person to assist us on the Lot. Tim was the person that also assisted us with the purchase of our Subaru. He was very knowledgeable in all areas of the vehicle as well as being extremely personable and pleasant to work with. Tim and Claire made the "Hassell" of purchasing a vehicle into a positive experience. We would definitely recommend Shingle Springs Subaru as the place to go!!!!!

Went to a local dealer, near our home in Elk Grove and was worn out by a aggressive salesman. They had a 4th of July special and we went to purchase a Subaru and was pushed to a breaking point to finance the car. Left the dealer and will never go back. Contacted Jeff Tallent the internet salesman for Shingle Springs Subaru and got a price by e-mail which was expectable. They only had one car that we wanted and he held it for us until we could drive up out of our area to drive it and the experience was great. Jeff new the product very well and was more than helpful with going over every aspect of the vehicle. I hate purchasing cars and never purchase the extended warranty but with the deal we got and the comfort of everyone in the Store we decide that we would use them for all of our service work and care for our new car. To bad we have to drive out of our area to find service but am happy we did Thank You Jeff
