What a horrible experience! These people are so unprofessional and unscrupulous it’s not even funny. You know those things you read about dealerships being slimy and playing games like bait and switch? Well this place does it all. I thought those days are over – but not here! Future Nissan (and as far as I’m concerned all the ‘Future’ dealerships) are as slimy as they come. So let’s get to the meat of the matter shall we? It all started with an internet quote from Mr. M saying he could met my TrueCare price and could even find me the color of vehicle I wanted even if they had to order it for me! I made an appointment for a 7:30pm test drive and the headed out. This is when things started to get bad – when we arrived we were told the car was at their ‘storage’ location and we would have to drive out to get it, well that turned out to be Rocklin, where all the other Future dealerships keep their inventory. So that took an entire hour…..at least I got to drive the truck back, which was pretty much like test driving it, even though now I think they just got me to drive the lump of coal to their dealership for free. The truck was what I wanted – except for one big problem, the color – it was black on black. Personally I don’t want to drive around a microwave with wheels since I live in the Sacramento area. So we get back to the dealership and start working on the price – right away I tell them I have a loan approved through my credit union (which they were even running a special with that weekend…) but they still asked me to fill out an application and ran my credit! They really wanted me to get Nissan financing at some ridiculous rate (I have excellent credit – 4.99, what are you smoking?) Then the truck they say that they found in my color was not actually the color I wanted but a different color. This was after we had agreed on a price and everything. Then the truth came out (if not briefly)….would I buy the microwave on wheels if they threw out a ‘crazy’ price? Can you say bait and switch? Very good class! You all get gold stars! They had absolutely no interest in selling me the truck I wanted but selling me what they wanted to unload. By that time it was almost 10:30pm and we told them to call us the next day, which they promised they would do. Next day comes – do they call, of course not! That should have been the end of it but I decide to go down with the wife again for more punishment. We had decided to get the truck even if the color was a little different, we still liked it. When we got there everyone totally ignored us (we all know when we are being ignored on purpose, don’t we…) finally one of the ‘salespeople’ (I do use the term very loosely here) came over. He pretended to not know who we were and if we were waiting on Kevin (who the hell is Kevin?) Basically he said he could not find any of the paperwork from last night (how the hell does that happen? Nice to know all my confidential information can be just ‘misplaced’) and could not find the agreed upon price. Instead he quoted us a price that was thousands more than what we had discussed less than 24 hours ago! Oh said Mr. C. , “If Mr. Jack hole was here we could get you that price, but since he is busy cleaning the toilets I just can’t get there” That was it – we left in disgust! So my advice? DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE – stay clear!!!! What a bunch of bold face liars and cheats!

The worst service ever... I went to Future Nissan of Folsom and the Sales Representative who attended me was very nice, her name is Melissa Hippo, the first time I didnt buy the car since wanted to look other dealers/brands. I went again today 6/6/2015 and Melissa first attended me again, later on she introduce a coworker who took over and show me the cars, I was convinced in what to buy this time, just the APR wasnt good enough to buy it, this other guy bring his manager or so and this other person asked bring down the APR couple points, but still not enough, I told them I wont sing this time and will prefer visit my personal bank to see if I can better deal but he didnt took a not for an answer, he asked me why not to sing the papers and will allow me 5 days to took over to my personal bank and if I dont find a better deal we can proceed with the APR they offered me, which I refused saying I prefer to check myself first and then came back, I repeatedly told them that I do not feel comfortable and he keep pushing me to sign the papers, I keep saying not at least 9 times when I lost the count, I didnt left just to be polite with this person but he keep pushing me so desperate to sell the car. Once more he said If I get you a better APR will you sign today, I will check with Credit Union bank which is the one that we use, I again told him I will check with my personal bank instead and came with a number, but he refuse to let me go and said If I get you an 0% APR will you sign, We can check with your bank for you, I said I prefer to check myself but he insisted, so I said ok, check with my bank, 5 minutes later he came back saying “I wish you took my deal early, see all this papers, all banks declined, you don’t have now a good score because too many checks, I can still asking a favor with our bank on Monday” like he was doing me a favor, I asked why he check with all banks and affected my credit, he said you allow me to. I just told you to check with my bank, never agreed on checking with all banks, so he replayed, you signed an authorization early to allow us to check your credit and that authorize you to do it so… They were so unprofessional and I am too upset, disappointed with FUTURE NISSAN OF FOLSOM and will file a formal complaint. DO NOT BUY HERE…

I first took my Pathfinder in on July 20th for its 90,000 maintenance. As I always do I check to be sure what is supposed to be serviced has been done. To my surprise when I checked the air filter it was my original that I put in 6 months ago. What I also noticed right away was the cabin air filter didnt smell fresh as it always has after each service replacement. From this point I had to wonder what else I paid for that hadnt been serviced after paying $655. I had to take another trip down to Nissan on that Saturday to have the Service Advisor and maintenance dude try to tell me the cabin filter that was dirty and had particles in it from one day was NEW! They of course couldnt explain to me why my air filter wasnt changed at the time of service. At this point thats $27 out of my pocket for nothing!! I had to wait another week for Darren Dettman Service Manager to return from Vacation to voice my complaint since there wasnt anyone else in charge to deal with this situation. Nice!! When Darren finally decided to call me back a day after his return and after I left my irritated voice message about this situation he stated that he wanted to do the full service over and that he would get right back to me. It took another day and a half for a response but instead of Darren it was his Service Advisor Noel. As far as I am concerned Darren should have been handling this situation directly with me not Noel. When I arrived at 5:30 today I could see they had just washed the car that means the car sat all day until late afternoon when they finally decided to do the service again.. I dont trust this service dept at all that they even re-serviced my car. You have now broken my confidence! At the very end I had to wait again for Noel to complete his paperwork all while Darren sat in his office right next to NoeIs work counter and not once did he come out to see if they had meet my satisfaction. To make matters worse Noel treated our time as if it was a regular service and didnt even apologize as I left. If you dare to service your vehicle here I would ask for any used parts to be left in your trunk in a plastic bag to be sure you are paying for the service you came in for or try to watch your car!!
