The good: Well staffed, spacious, places for the kids to sit. Greeted immediately on arrival. You can see your name on the wait board. This is a company-owned store. The bad: Some of the staff are not entirely competent. You get the staff member that becomes available when you are on the wait board. Wait times can be quite long despite the large staff. Each time weve been in the store it has been exceedingly hot (in January!). There is less tech on display than we expected and it became an argument when they had a defective phone on display and suggested we buy one anyway, without even trying a display model. Information brochures are not readily available. Our account was set up wrong and they kept us waiting a long time and still messed it up. Trading in 3 old phones for $21 in credit took nearly a full hour. They dont answer their phone most of the time, and though they take a message if they answer they never returned our call.

Just updated our phones to Samsung S6. Marwan at the Fremont store, helped us out so much. My phone data and info transferred with no problem. My old Moto Atrix 2 is newer than my husbands Moto Atrix, which, I believe, has a virus on it. Which is why Marwan was unable to transfer my husbands data to his new phone. He tried several times but was unsuccessful. So we went to the AT&T store in Santa Clara the next day because we were in the area for other business. MARNEE LaBINE was able to figure out a way to get the contacts into my husbands phone by syncing the phone with his Yahoo contacts list. She is a genius! She also discovered that my husbands phone is damaged in some way because she said that the machine that they use to transfer the files from phone to phone wont connect to any phone that is damaged. Anyway, we are happy with our new phones now.

Came into the Santa Clara store to pay a bill and overheard an associate berating a older gentleman about his lack of understanding for the technology of his phone. The more she tried to help him, the more frustrated she got and the louder her voice became. She continued to to speak in a derogatory tone in the center of the store, rather than take him aside. In the last six months the customer service at this store has significantly declined. This associate should should go back and learn customer care etiquette. The only shining star here in Santa Clara is a young lady named Sabrina. She is the one salesperson who takes the time to listen, explain things, and makes suggestions rather than looking for a quick sale. I highly recommend you speak with her.

Went to transfer my number from other network provider to AT&T. The procedure took a lot of time and for a newbie customer like me, the store agents do not disclose the hidden costs. They gave me their contact number but no body answered the calls made at the very next day. Many mistakes were made during my phones up-gradation process. Because of these mistakes, I am billed extra on my account and I am gonna get a much delayed delivery of new iPhone. I would never recommend buying a new phone in contract with AT&T.

Lack of knowledge from Kyle C- was not provided all details of the prepaid plans, and was told stoutly that porting a number would be all but impossible and given incorrect advice in relation to that. Wait time was relatively long but was not the fault of the staff. Kyle R at Westfield Valley Fair was much more helpful and informed. Wait times were much better as well even at a busier time. Definitely recommend going to that AT&T store instead.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer, wait-time is unacceptable here.. took forever for their employees to handle customers, with 8 people waiting in front of me, I spent 40 mins to talk with someone. Initially there were 3-4 agents, but I could always see more people emerging from the back room.. looks like they have more employees, but they are not interested in handling customers quickly.. given a choice will not visit again.

The only bad part was the wait - but I guess AT&T needs to open more stores in the area for that. There were a LOT of people and especially when you open an account it can take time. I dont blame the staff for making us wait for so long. But the person who attended to us was very knowledgeable and friendly and replied patiently to all our questions. I had a good experience. No hiccups at all.

They serve the customers with great comfort. I had a problem with my phone which was not resolved by talking to a customer care representative over the phone, this was resolved by the representative as he spoke with various levels of people to solve the issue. Most important the is no waiting any time for me. :)

Had to visit 3 times just to open lines. They dont tell you what you need to bring to transfer a number from another carrier until they realize its needed. Music is very loud and they even mess up with numbers. If can go anywhere else dont waste time here. I wish I could give negative number of stars.

Kisses is wonderful at following up and helping get annoying issues resolved. A professional who is easy to work with and I know is doing all she can to help me out. Sadly, AT&T has both of our hands tied and she has to jump through hoops to make things happen. Thanks Kisses!

Waiting time is horrible in this store. I went to upgrade my phone to iphone 5 and ended up waiting for 1 hr and 30 min. All representative were either taking long time or doing nothing in back part of the store. In short, avoid this store if possible.

very bad customer service, manager Ray Tang was too arrogant and did not listen to my complaint even when it was their fault in activating my phone. I would not visit their store again, I wish I had not moved to att from sprint.

Not even 5 minutes into sitting down, they put on the radio to the point it felt like a club, not a place of business. We were not the only customers. Very rude. Just plain nausea. I wouldnt even give it a star if I had to.
