Went here because my wife saw their work and liked it. Was warned by a friend that it was a nice shop but was indicative of the new mission in SF and was guitar pretentious. I called and placed an order for a 50$ bouquet and was not asked or told I would have to pay tax and since I thought I was pretty clear about spending 50$, that is what it would cost. Maybe I should have inquired about the tax, but since the saleswoman seems ok with my request, thought I was ok. When I got there to pay, and they wanted to add tax and that was not my understanding and only had a 50$ bill, I just said take out a few flowers to accommodate me since I only had 50$. At this point a very snotty flower person without addressing me and somewhat under his breathe condescendingly made snide comments about adding tax and this is like any other shop and tax is added. At this point, I decided to ignore his reuse and non-customer centered comments and just get my flowers for my wife and leave. Been working on my EQ. I later called and asked to speak to a manager and the woman on the phone said they were not there and can she help me. I reiterate my experience to her and all she did was respond by saying sorry his comments made me uncomfortable. WOW, talk about missing the larger picture, it is not about me but customer service and how you treat customers. I know this shop is up and coming and I should have known not to go to such a "Bourgy" shop, but I will tell you this, I will never return. So to be clear it is not about me feeling uncomfortable, it is about customer service and realize you are there to serve not condescend. At least the woman on the phone didnt say sorry we invaded your safe space or else I may have driven back and given their leads than impressive overpriced bouquet back. God help SF and the Mission. BTW I have never ever posted a review and probably never will again, that is how strongly I feel about this.

A little diamond in Ampersand. I came in looking for some house plants and I explained to them how Im not very confident in taking care of plants. They gave me two easy beautiful plants which they named Zoe and Zizi. They taught me how to take care of them and asked me to come back should I have any problems. They gave me a great deal for both plants and I ended up picking some flowers for Shabbat as well. Overall... beautiful plants and flowers and a helpful staff who are willing to go out of their way to send you home happy.

A really lovely little flower shop. A place of warmth and comfort nestled in an old garage! Fair prices, modest selection, but everything is high quality and appropriate for the season. Super nice staff, too!

This place is great. Make your own arrangement or pick a premade one. Vases are for sale too and it smells amazing.
