Like many other reviewers [check Yelp], I experienced poor customer service and missed deadlines at Mission de Flores. I ordered a boutonniere and corsage pair in-store on 2/15/17, to be picked up on 2/18/17. I was told they would be ready on the day my event at start of the day. I arrived a couple hours after the business opened, to be told by the employee that they hadnt been started because she had no experience making my items, and her coworker was late to the office so nothing could be done. Shouldnt have waited until my pickup time to start on this, or even let me know...whatever. I said I would come back in a few hours after they were ready. I came back in the afternoon to pick up my order, and saw that it was done incorrectly!! The florist made two boutonnieres. I know I said I needed a corsage and a boutonniere.. I looked up the spelling of each while I was in the store placing my order -- I even mentioned that the corsage is for my girlfriend. Ugh. At this point Im flabbergasted, but I just want my order done right for my special event in just a few hours. Im told they they will fix it and deliver it to my nearby apartment. While I am waiting for my delivery, I receive a call saying that A) they need to charge me an extra $10 for delivery [after I had already been in the store twice], and B) I would have to pay more to pick up the corsage because I wasnt charged the right price, and C) they wouldnt apply my yelp check-in discount a "second" time, so Ill have to end up paying even more than I should have because of their mistake. Are you kidding me? I cant afford to pay the extra for delivery, on top of the uncharge I wasnt told about and didnt agree to. At this point, I feel completely taken advantage of and wasted an entire afternoon going to this store 3 times, and waiting at my apartment for a delivery that never came. I went to the store, paid well over the price I was told, and left -- but not before the employees working gave me lip about how they were doing me a favor by applying my discount more than once. At no point was I offered a refund for the inconvenience, or a waiver of the upcharge that I did not agree to. I felt taken financially hostage, and after investing so much time waiting for this to be done right I was unable to go to a more competent shop and get my order taken care. If youre a potential customer, take your business to Ampersand on 16th St and Albion. Theyll take care of your with competence, and none of the sass or exorbitant prices. Steve, talk to your employees who worked on Feb 15 and 18 about 1) showing up to work on time, 2) having orders ready on time, 3) taking responsibility when they make mistakes, 4) offering a refund / free delivery when they make mistakes, 5) confirming the contents of an order before the customer leaves. Im looking forward to hearing from you on how you are responding your staffs handling of this situation, and how you will remedy my experience.

Writing this review after coming here multiple times over the past three years. Early on the service and quality of arrangements made the very steep pricing worth it, but the past few times Ive been there the service has been bad. Felt very rushed and impatient with walk in customers. Today I was helped by someone who seemed like they were making their first ever bouquet there. I just paid $30 for a protea and some bushes and was treated like a jerk for doing it.

I was on a crunch to send a beautiful bouquet to my nephew and his wife on their first wedding anniversary in SF. During google search I came across Mission de Flores am I ever glad I did. Steve the owner is such a wonderful person to deal with , he took care of every minute detail and delivered my order with so much care n compassion. I am so impressed and will highly recommend them to everyone who like exquisite details and top of the line customer service.

My friends and I have used this service a couple times, I can only say that it is so so. I dont like the act that it doesnt have order tracking so you cannot track if the order arrived at the destination or not.
