I unfortunately did not receive good service from this company. I will not use them again. Every company makes mistakes but the bottom line is I would not trust them to deliver on their commitment because of my experience. I was told by the company that the gentleman who took my order was fired because he should not have committed to delivering the flowers I ordered when he had agreed to deliver them. Unfortunately, I distinctly recall him checking with someone else in the shop (presumably his supervisor) before he made the commitment. Also, I was not informed that the flowers would not be delivered until after they werent delivered and I contacted them. I planned a very special date for my wife, daughter and two nieces. I purchased flowers and wrote cards that would be delivered to two separate restaurants on a Sunday (they advertised this as a day they were open and is the reason I chose this shop) before 5:00 pm. I coordinated the deliveries between the restaurant managers and this shop. I spent a lot of time and money to make this a very special evening for these special ladies. I was very disappointed when we arrived at the first restaurant and the flowers were not there. I tried to contact them but had no way to reach them as there was no answer. I sent an email hoping someone would respond and make sure that the second delivery was made to the second restaurant. No response and again no flowers or cards. The following day I received their reply but much too late and too full of excuses. Bottom line, I believe they didnt deliver the flowers because they were tired after a long week even though they had committed to the order. They offered me 50% off on my next order. Feel free to use this discount as I never will.

University Village Florist makes beautiful arrangements and has quality flowers. They sell fresh flowers, and flower arrangements that keep for a long time, and are put together very nicely. I have used them before as my flower service for everything from funerals, memorials, corporate events, birthdays, get well flowers, a wedding, and even one bat mitzvah. They have never let me down. Their deliveries have been timely, and their prices are very reasonable when you work with them directly - especially considering they do Seattle flower delivery. The events Ive used their flower delivery have been all over - near them in U-Village, Ravenna, Northgate, Downtown Seattle, Greenlake, and Eastlake, and also as far south as Southcenter, Columbia City, and Beacon Hill. Ive tried many other flower services, but always end up coming back to University Village Florist. Hands down, they have the best flowers in Seattle.

I cant express how disappointed I was with this florist. I was sent a $70 arrangement. I have worked at a flower shop for years, so I know the pricing of flowers. The arrangement I received would of cost around $40(if that), and it was delivered, so tack on another ten dollars. Where the other $20 went, I dont know. The arrangement had no creativity or interest. I would never recommend this florist. They completely ripped us off. Extreme disappointment.

Ive stopped by this place a few times for special occasion bouquets - I always walk away with a truly beautiful arrangement for a reasonable price. The folks who run the place are kind and talented, and I dont think Ive ever spent more than five or ten minutes waiting.

Just left University Village Florist and the experience was great! The girl in the front Veta was very knowledgeable and nice. They had wide range of flowers and put together a beautiful arrangement. I will be definitely returning there for many more occasions.

I have order flowers from this florist three times. Prices are reasonable, deliveries have been on time and my wife always gushes about how beautiful the bouquets are when she receives them! Make your special someone smile, I recommend this florist.
