There is absolutely no one word to describe my experience with Vespa Motorsport. All I can say is that Vespa Motorsport has been so helpful in my Vespa purchase process and answered every question I had and responded to me in the same day. I have never met anyone from Vespa Motorsport nor have I ever set foot in their shop. It’s not that I have no desire to, it’s because I live in Hawai’i. My search for a Vespa here in Hawai’i has been very frustrating. My resources are very limited and the response time of the dealer here, is crazy long and there are not very informative. I can’t even get a price from them and they do not sell the Vespa’s at the MSRP. I first saw a listing on Craig’s List Hawai’i and didn’t think it was possible for an out of state dealer to sell Vespa’s here. But when I searched the internet and YouTube, Vespa Motorsport kept on appearing. I did my research and liked everything I read and saw about Vespa Motorsport, so with that, I gave them a call. Erik from Vespa Motorsport was my contact person. He is extremely helpful and informative. There was no pressure from him, he answered all of my questions and even shared a few photos and videos of their shipping process. Talking to Erik is like talking to a long time friend. It’s also a plus that Vespa Motorsport is an actual Vespa Dealer and carry everything I need for my Vespa. The dealer here in Hawai’i has to special order the items I need, which I can imagine they will charge me whatever they please. Vespa Motorsport is the only place I recommend for your Vespa purchase. They are far cheaper than the Hawai’i dealer and not to mention, Hawai’i doesn’t even have their 2013 models in stock yet.

I had my Vespa LX150 serviced with them on 5/24/2013 and paid $348 for a 15K service. They delivered it to my home on Friday and we parked it safe and sound. I went on vacation one week and came back ready to ride my newly service Vespa. I found on the first day it stalled at each stop or when I would slow down. It was so dangerous when I would turn a corner I would stall and the cars behind me would honk and get mad because I would have to re start it. I thought maybe the fluids just had to run through the bike since it just got serviced. The next day, same issue, next day same issue, so I wrote to the service manager at Motorsport Vespa and explained this issue. Here is his response: "The carburetor may have issues or need to be cleaned. We can diagnose the problem for $90.00. If a scooter sits for long enough the fuel evaporates from the float bowl leaving behind deposits. Those deposits can make their way into the idle and main jet causing the scooter to stall. The issues you are describing do not sound as if they are related to the service and repair performed on 05-24-2013 invoice #123849. How would you like to proceed? Thanks, KEVIN: Can you believe this? My advice is go to a business that stands behind their work and has some type of integrity. I recommend "Cool Scooters" in North County

Terrible! Installed used parts (exhaust) and charged for new. Every time in the shop mechanic (Jeff) left numerous tool marks on the case and scratched paint. After 3K in upgrades (exhaust, suspension, tires, top end, upgraded clutch) major oil leak after every ride. Went to the shop to discussion options to address the leak. Mechanic Jeff, obviously ticked off engage me and said he had worked on the bike twice and said it is the nature of Vespas to leak oil and I should "just live with it." I approached the owner (Steve) who came to the service area wherein Jeff came apart. In front of the owner, he flipped me off a half a dozen times, yelled FU at least 5 times told me to sell my scooter and get something else and closed the door on me. Owner Steve did nothing and also said I should live with it. Dont trust these guys. Buy the way my Vespa is brand new with less than 1200 miles. I will sell it and never buy the product again. Watch out for Steve, Kevin, and especially Jeff (nut case). They act this way because they are the only Vespa dealer in SD County.

Let me preface by saying Vespa Motorsport has beautiful inventory and its definitely a one-stop shop for all things Vespa. However, I wanted to buy a new (second) scoot last year so I, of course, went into Vespa Motorsports. It was really not possible to buy a plain Vespa. Every bike had been outfitted with after market accessories such as chrome, mirrors, or other trim. Granted, they were gorgeous but the added bits put them squarely out of my price range. There was no way to buy a normal, unadorned scooter. I ended up buying a motorcycle...but really want another Vespa. The nearest Vespa dealer other than VM was too far away to get there via public transportation to pick up a bike if I made a purchase. VM, if youre listening, PLEASE stop adding the extra trimmings to all of the scoots. I know I cant be the only person who has had this experience.

I am new to riding scooters and live over here in Kansas City. TC who was the person who helped me with the purchased of my very first Vespa 300 was so patient with me and did all the work including making sure my Vespa was shipped to me ASAP. His customer service is second to none. I could have easily purchased one here locally but I am so glad I went with Vespa Motorsport. Alex and Robot also played a big role in convincing me thanks to their awesome hands on videos. Please keep it going. I highly recommend this store everyone knows what they are talking about and they have the best customer service and they truly care for their customers. BTW the Super modified Vespa 300 supersport represented very well in this years Amerivespa in Indianapolis. Thanks again John "Capi" Capuchino Mr Vesfanatic

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my scooter there for repair. They wanted to repair everything except what I took it there for. They told me they would only do all the repairs they wanted to do and not until then would they do the repairs I asked for. They were not supposed to do anything to the scooter. It only needed a battery charge and new carb. When it was returned to me the electrical was ruined and it could not be run. They knew I was not happy and damaged my scooter. They treated me as if I did not know what I was talking about yet knew nothing about my scooter every time I talked them. Worst customer service ever and I will never by my next scooter from them and suggest to stay away from the male egos in this place!!!

Bought one their specialty tools. Poor build quality. First one broke. They sent a second one out free of charge. That one broke quicker then the first. Asked to purchase another at a discount. Was flatly refused. Would have gladly purchased second replacement at 20%, 15% or even 10% off and paid the shipping. But, was told too bad. Even offered to send the two broken tools back, at my expense, for inspection so that a better tool could be made. Shame on the parts guy named Max. I was nothing but willing to work with you, and all you were willing to do was to blame me for buying YOUR tool through AF1 instead of directly through you. How was that any different? You guys still made the tool.
