The blue bike was upset with me for not riding it enough. It did not want to recharge after a semi-charge and bump start. I had purchased the more expensive battery (as I do for all my bikes) called "Mega-Boost" since it has a lifetime warranty at Cycle Gear. Called cycle gear at 9:15am (sunday) to ask if they had one, and could they throw it on the charger for a bit. My wife was picking it up while I waited (good wife). A couple things happened that made the event less frustrating. Cycle Gear ANSWERED the phone even though there were not open until 10am. Tara, the manager, was very pleasant. I said "Hi, Im on the side of the road with one of your lifetime batteries sitting next to the bike" Told her couldnt get the battery or reciept to her but that its fine, Ill dont care, Ill buy a new one. When my wife got there, the store was still closed. I called, they let her in and said, "He buys a lot of stuff here, just bring us the old battery when you can. No charge." Hell, when Im on the side of the road, Ill pay double! So it was a nice change. Got to love customer service and someone standing behind the products. A rare commodity these days. And its why I "buy a lot of stuff" there. 4 bikes need feeding all the freaking time. ha! Bike fired up fine and I had a nice ride!

I normally dont do online reviews, but after my experience there I felt I had to tell everyone. They a have a good selection of gear on hand, but can get almost anything in a day. Nice guys and not a high pressure sales staff. They match any legit price from anywhere and best of all you get to try on the gear first for fit (try that online). Also if youre EVER dissatisfied with a product you can swap it out or return it (even after riding on it). I bought a new Alpinestars Stunt jacket that fit me in the store well, but after a ride, I realized I got one size too big (the airflow puffed the jacket up too much). I went back (months later, but only worn once) and without question they swapped it for a new jacket one size down! It fits perfect, and Cycle Gear has one more customer for life! This is what customer service is all about, and why theyre a successful store. Save a dollar or two online from a non authorized dealer? I think not! Thanks guys! Adam

Wow! Yet another great Cycle Gear experience! Couldnt be happier. 100% customer satisfaction!!! Walked in was greeted promptly, not only did they assist me in my exchange but matched prices too on the part I decided to purchase! Talk about competing with other companies. Impressive. 100% customer satisfaction! I dealt with Ryan who was absolutely professional and customer satisfaction focused. San Diego riders be checking this out, if you are looking for the best prices, the best customer service this is the place! Cycle Gear San Diego a must visit. The bad side they are some what limited on certain items not a huge deal breaker as this location alone is massive. I only say this because I was left wanting more. If there selection went up...IMO would not see any reason to shop anywhere else. Yes I would recommend this store to a friend.

Absolutely hands down the best customer service. Randy will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Everyone is always very helpful and very knowledgeable. Darryl has helped me too in the past and knows his stuff. I am always satisfied with the products also because I make a better decision based on the staffs input. They dont even work on commission but they do everything they can to help you find what you are looking for. I cant recommend this store enough. Largest selection in apparel in San Diego hands down also.

The best spot for motorcycle gear, helmets, protective clothing...basically anything you could think of at great prices. They have everything and the staff is super helpful and friendly. I walked in looking for a helmet, found more choices than I could have ever expected and bought a great helmet for pretty cheap. Highly recommend this place, there are very few places to get motorcycle gear in San Diego but this is king.

Holidays pretty much come around the same time every year, it would be nice to have the hours posted online, also when I called the store earlier in the day asking about their hours the guy on the phone told me they were closed thanksgiving but everything else was the same. Driving 23 miles to get to a store that was closed was a waste of time and gas, this is why I will continue shopping online with other retailers.

There are three Cycle Gear stores in my area and each of them have the same consistently high quality shopping experience. (Scott and Lauren at the San Diego and San Marcos locations were particularly wonderful) They make you want to just ride up to the store just to hang out! Keep up the good work CG

My best friend wanted some gear for his bike for Christmas so I came by Cycle Gear in Kearny Mesa. They have everything a motorcycle enthusiast could ever ask for! I am not too familiar with motorcycles so the staff was happy to help me find everything I was looking for. It was like the Wal Mart strictly for motorcycles!

walked by today and got awesome customer service. guys over there are very helpful. and there are lot of stuff to buy. from inexpensive helmets and gloves to top end jackets and suits. oh yeah also there are some accessories and fluids for the bike. now this is my favorite store. KEEP UP CYCLE GEAR

The best store in this universe. All the employees are amazing! Think I know everyone by name Randy, Deidre, Jake, Jordan. Scott.. They are very helpful and know how to treat customers. If you dont find what you need theyll figure a way to get it as soon as possible.

Super informative staff, who is always available and willing to spend plenty of time to answer all questions and provide plenty of information. Great supply of whats needed. Even if the motorcycle parking is taken up, theres plenty of other parking in the area.

I had a helmet with a missing screw. Cycle Gear doesnt even carry the brand, which is unavailable in the US, but the employee helped me find a spare screw for another helmet that worked perfectly. Great service, and I was charged nothing! Whats not to like?

Ive purchased almost ALL my gear here. The floor staff are knowledgeable and helpful without ever being pushy or trying to upsell me. I trust them and go here first whenever I need new gear.

Its a nice store with a good staff that is friendly. My only problem is I tend to find better deals online or at a dealership. But if you want something today they probably have it.
