More than annoyed/disappointed, had a pleasant interaction in the shop, seemed great, I have a DR650 that I wanted some carb work done on it, they offered a free inspection to check out anything else, great! They told me my clutch cable was improperly routed and should also replace the perch as well, told me the previous owner botched the wiring on the aftermarket lights and switch, and that if they didnt fix it melting would have occurred. I tell them to do the work, I just got the bike a few thousand ago, wasnt too familiar with it yet, just wanted it smooth and ready. Carburetor problem was a little better, but I later found out that not only was the clutch cable NOT routed correctly after I got my bike back, but it was pinching the cable in the forks, actually cutting into the sleeve blatantly , and pulling the throttle cables when moving the bars hard left, meaning the bike suddenly accelerates in turns!! On top of that, I later inspected a stock DR650 and found the cable to have been stock routed when I got it, they didnt even bother to check a manual or even online for proper routing, give me a break. And the perch was stock..so there was no problem. Oh Im not done, the aftermarket lights they "saved from melting" well, they just stopped working on me a few hundred miles ago, and they remounted the lights on the bike, in doing so mounted them incorrectly so that when I turned hard left, it cracked the paint off my radiator clean off. Super bad experience, will not go back or recommend, have had other friends with similar experiences including "bolts not tightened" the worst kind of offense for a motorcycle, Im honestly not sure how they keep going with that kind of sloppy work, must be all the race sponsorships.

the labor was good, I had some custom welding done and installation and it was of great quality, where it goes to the 1 star is the customer service and organization. first I was told one week, then I was called and told it would be an additional week, after the 2nd I showed up and as told it would be a few days more, after about 3 weeks I was told to bring my bike in. a couple of days after I went in to get an estimate on a completion date to which I was told by the weekend or mid week next week, I showed up the next week as told and I was told "it will be done when its done" not before the employee told me "you like hearing the same thing dont you" I refrained my self from being rude and told them how this was strange to me, it felt like they were doing me some sort of favor, like I hadnt paid for their work in advance. 5 days later I finally received a call that my motorcycle was ready. mediocrity always has an excuse and this place had many of them, this place is a disorganized mess with disrespectful staff. I informed them that I would get a autotune for a power commander 5 and they proceeded to badmouth the product and insist on a dyno run from them for 600 to which I contacted dynojet research inc headquarters to inform them of this location and staff badmouthing their product, in conclusion take your business else where and save your self time and money.

Ive been taking my 90 525XV Virago here about 10 years now. Yamaha dealership wont touch my bike, its "too old", but Im glad, the employees at Mammoth are awesome, and they do or arrange anything you want/need done. They have riding gear for sale as well, helmets, clothing, boots, gloves etc. Oil, oil change, done. Maintenance, done. Upgrade parts, done. Accident repairs, done. Powder coating, done. And Im currently working on a prototype for my own custom luggage rack, they said if I do that, I can save half my $ by designing it myself, and they have an on-site laser metal cutter to make my creation legit. Love these guys (and gal).

Great Shop!!! Have never had a bad experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, experienced. I trust them completely. Take any negative reviews with a grain of salt. There are always going to be a small amount of people that get upset. Dude...your bike is a piece of crud and needs a lot of work = more money than you wanted to spend = not Mammoth Motorsports fault. They know bikes...a lot of different kind of bikes...not just Honda, or Kawasaki, but also Yamaha, Triumph, Ducati, and on and on. Go in. Talk to them. DO IT NOW!!!

After being burned by another local ship, I am hesitant to let anyone work on my street bike. I have found the quality of service to excellent. When shopping, they offered to match online pricing. During a fork rebuild, they pointed out another item on the opposite end of the bike that needed to be checked that I had missed. It was clear to me that they didnt let the bike leave the shop without a complete going over. I recommend them to friends.

Mammoth Motorsports us a great place to have your bike worked on. No matter the problem there service department has the answers and can fix your problem, Questions are always answered with a smile and when you order parts or apparel it is there the next day. Overall if you are looking for a shop to handle all your needs in regards to your motorcycle this is the place to go.

My first visit, I was less then impressed. However, I believe they are starting to take the negative reviews seriously. With that being said, my second visit was better. They even took the time to call me and check on the status of my bike. They get 3 stars for making an attempt to change.

Went there after Yamaha screwed up my fork seal order and they were super helpful. Asked about the bike, checking on whether I needed anything else. Everyone in there knows their stuff and thats a nice change from the dealerships.
