My friends and I had rented a house in Ellsworth and this was the most popular lobster place in town. We came here for lunch and ordered a bunch of crab and lobster rolls. They were really tasty - perfectly toasted buttered buns, a lot of crab or lobster meat, and light on the mayo. Their soups are good as well - haddock and clam. I preferred the haddock, the meat was really tasty. The staff were very nice. I would come back again.

Went to Maine for a weekend getaway and had our fair share of lobster rolls. Dorr Lobsters was by the far the best. It is a family runned seafood market, and you can taste the difference in quality and freshness. We ordered lobster and crab rolls; the meat was very sweet. In other places, you only taste the mayo. We highly recommend this place if youre in town for lobster rolls.

Freshest seafood in town. It is great to purchase food from a fresh seafood market, prices are good too. The Seaweed Salad is great too! Certain times of the year they offer fresh crabmeat and lobster rolls. Good service, great food all at a convenient location. Do yourself a favor and stop in for the freshest seafood in the area!

Have been going for years. We tried to call ahead to get lobsters steamed for two hours and their phone didnt work. So we finally drove there at 535. And the guy working said "we dont cook them after 530" after explaining that we drove There because their phones didnt work. Good customer service. Especially to locals.

I have always loved the lobster rolls, but yesterday my son in law described his experience buying some live ones to take back to Connecticut. His treatment was amazing! He just posted pictures of the cooked product and they are having a wonderful meal. How can you say no to quality, price, and outstanding service?

Returned to Maine after 6 years in the Army. This is the best place to stop for seafood, period. Dont bother looking for cheaper prices or better quality. Just get it from here and you will have the best food at the lowest price. As direct from boat to pot as you can get.
