First off, the only reason this doesnt have less stars is because there honestly is a very large selection of items in this store which is nice. BUT the lack of stars honestly is due to the employees professionalism, or lack thereof. Firstly, they were getting all kinds of new items into the store which is nice, except it was all being put together literally in front of the doors as my wife and I had to squeeze past boxes and dozen or so people flinging boxes around and walking tbrough, not one offered to help clear a path or even acknowledged our presence, one um, gentleman was standing in front of the open door we were finally able to get too and as he was talking and flinging his arms around with an open box-cutter in his hand came within about a foot of my face, I actually had to put my hand up and block his arm from getting any closer, no apology, just a look on his face of "why did you touch me". So already off to a horrible start before we even get into the store. So once in the store not one person greeted us and offered to help, Im not that really needs that, but it is a symbol of showing professionalism and courtesy, so after about 15 mins of browsing an employee finally approached us and offered any help. However, any question I asked she didnt know the question to anyhow. She proceeded to quietly follow is around for a little while, making small comments and doing nothing to help us really. Every single price tag on all of the products had their price on it with a slash through it indicating that a sale was ongoing. But when I asked our employee about that she didnt even know what the sale was! She said they hadnt been briefed by management about any of the prices. So I couldnt get a straight answer on any questions about the product and couldnt be told how much the product even cost! I wont ever return to this store.

delivering came on time just to find out that my mattress was on back order; When I was sold the full set the rep never mentioned that the mattress was on back order. I guess due to sales credit. I had several phone calls and texts to remind me of delivery time. I spoke to one customer service rep previous to delivery and Ashley still fail to advise me of a back up order. On delivery day I call Ashley to inquire about time frame for the mattress and the first rep name Anna hang up on my while I was on hold. The second time I call the rep Jessie told me that there was no way for her to tell me of availability date because her system had no access to inventory until the truck was back to warehouse. Do they keep all of their inventory on one delivery truck? She had no sense of urgency to resolve my issue, I guess they already made their sale and the rest is of no importance because they are not the ones sleeping on a mattress box tonight. What a joke of a company that tries to offer you an honest personalized buying experience covered by horrible sales tactics to make commission.

This store is essentially non-functional and I would avoid it. A salesperson and manager took precisely 1 hour and 35 minutes to simply check us out for a purchase of a bedroom set and some accessories. 95 minutes. To check us out. The delivery was **6 hours** late after the delivery window ended and incomplete, and I was not contacted by the warehouse or delivery staff at any point to inform me that they would be outside the delivery window or that parts of the order are missing. When I called to find out why the parts hadnt been delivered, they couldnt answer, stating the goods were in the warehouse and there was no reason that they could see that they were not delivered. When I called to arrange delivery, I was informed that the goods were back ordered and not in the warehouse and a future delivery had been scheduled, without contacting me, for a day that I am not available.... honestly, its impressive a store can stay open with this level of incompetence. The whole thing was impressively poorly executed.

I do not have a problem with Ashley Furniture itself, yes the quality as not as great as I hoped but its okay. I have a PROBLEM with the 5 year protection plan (Montage Furniture Services "MFS")that they overly encourage you to get .This plan is no good. First of all this company contracts with other companies which prolongs the period of time from the date you file the claim to the date they actually come out and do the cleaning. I have only filed twice in the less than two years Ive owned the furiture.The first time they came out it took about two months to come and clean. The second time I called was the begining of April 2013, they came out to evaluate the damage in June 2013, and in July 2013 they say they cannot clean the furniture because it has stains over stains! I am so upset, of course more stains would form since it takes them four months to come out and provide the services I already paid for ...its ridicoulous! Bottom line do not purchase the protection insurance!!!!!!

The store is great, the prices are good, the sales crew is good. But once you leave the store, prepare yourself for a HUGE letdown! Ashley uses a third party shipper to deliver your stuff, and they are CLUELESS about how to do the job. The day they were supposed to show up, it was a NO CALL, NO SHOW! I took time off from work so i could be there. They finally showed 2 days later, and brought the wrong foundation, next time they showed up, they only brought half of it, the, next time they showed up, they brought nothing. Finally on the 5th trip they brought the right pieces!!! Ridiculous! Complete idiots! Dont take your chances. The people at the store or the warehouse dont seem to care about you, the customer, once you make the purchase!!

We purchased a recliner chair on Jan. 17, 2010 for $667.06 and were told we could expect delivery in about 10 days. By Feb. 20 they had fallen through on two delivery dates and couldnt give us more than a vague general estimate of about March 19 for delivery. This was an already unacceptably long wait, so we canceled the order and Ashleys CS department assured us that a full refund would be back on our credit card within three days. That was two weeks ago, and no refund so far. Tomorrow I will file a charge dispute with the credit card company, contact the BBB and the State Aty Generals Office.. I wish I had Googled "Ashley Furniture complaints" first - there are a lot of them. Dont do business with Ashley Furniture!

We were greeted by De Mario as soon as we walked in. He asked what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction. He took a few minutes to tell us about the ongoing specials and then allowed us to browse without trying to over sell. While browsing De Mario would come in and check in on us and answer any questions we had and give us tips. He was very friendly, helpful and made our experience great. I was surprised to learn that Ashley was not overpriced and we were able to find a living room set within our budget. I will definitely be returning when I am in need of furniture.
