HUGE selection, and that doesnt even include the furniture that can be ordered through their catalogs! I came here looking for real hardwood furniture in a driftwood grey color. A salesman showed me all the available wood swatches in that color family and the associated manufacturer catalogs. I was able to find in the catalog a set of matching alderwood furniture (1 tall chest of drawers, 2 lingerie chests, and 2 nightstands) made in dimensions that would fit perfectly in my room, in a color that I loved, at a great price. I like that the salespeople dont work off commissions, so they are never pushy and they dont argue amongst each other if you happen to wander into a different part of the store and another salesperson starts helping you. We put the order in during the Thanksgiving weekend, and it took a while for the furniture to be delivered (about 6 weeks). I do wish the delivery men had used shoe covers, since the carpeting in the house is very light and they left a few marks behind. However, they handled our furniture with the utmost care, and so our furniture came in pristine condition. Overall, Im a very happy customer!

Every time I look for furniture somewhere else, thinking I might find something cheaper that would be sufficient I end up finding nothing that is really satisfactory. Everything I find in other stores is either bad quality, ridiculously expensive and gaudily ornate when I want something with clean, timeless lines, or both. I keep coming back to Hoot Judkins, because every time I end up getting something of excellent quality for a reasonable price, whether standard or custom. Every time they can find the right solution for me. I am a loyal customer because time and again i have great experiences.

A huge selection of wood furniture. We bought a desk, nightstand, bookcase, and may be back for more. Real quality, including unfinished selections upstairs that you can finish or have them finish choosing from an enormous variety of sample blocks they have for you to look at. (Our bookcase started out unfinished and came back beautiful.) The staff is very helpful, very knowledgeable, and courteous. This place was a great find.

After 8 weeks of waiting and several phone calls, their promise of 6-8 week delivery turned into "at least 4 more weeks" and I cancelled my order. All I wanted was a standard bookshelf in a different color than they stock. They should have been honest with me about the delivery time, they should have returned my call with an updated schedule when I phoned a week ago, etc. I wont shop there again.

I like shopping here because there is an expected level of quality and an appreciation for craftsmanship and furniture and is supposed to last. Bought our kids bunk bed and I expect to have it when they come back home with their kids.
