I went in by myself to look for/buy a new couch. I am middle-aged and was wearing jeans and I was not treated badly nor did I have any of the terrible experiences that some people claim to have had. The woman I worked with worked really hard going through fabrics and everything with me and broke all the prices down. They even have a policy you can buy against pet damage where if you have a cat for instance that could damage the couch its actually insured. I went home and measured my space and it was smaller than I had originally thought and she worked with me through every configuration to try to get one to work. The only way she came up with was not a set up that I would want and therefore had to go with someone else. This is why it is a four star rating just because I do not have a delivery and final purchase experience. But she called me at home and followed up and I was very impressed by the customer service I received.

After purchasing an expensive bedroom set from them, all 6 handles from all 3 large drawers of a dresser fell off. I called them several times to see how these could be repaired but the person I had to speak with never returned my calls. So I went there to ask about this problem and was told by the salespeople that since I wasnt there to buy anything to f*** off, in a very rude manner by very snotty salespeople. Is this REALLY how Ethan Allen trains their staff to behave? I would fire anyone who treated a customer, especially a good customer, in the manner that they treated me. Theyve lost a customer for good. I guess this is the only way to boycott stores now is to speak with your wallet, particularly in this economy.

Overpriced, slow, terrible service. These dumb-dumb catalog-picker-designers are incapable of using the email technology - and I think even the phone. They "sized me up" as somebody who doesnt know anything about interior design, they gave me a business card and rushed me out of the store (probably so they could go down the street and chow down at Panda Express). I called them three times, and emailed them four times - no response. Finally I called them and told them that Ill work with real designers - and they agreed - told me to work with somebody else. Just dont buy anything from this catalog-store outlet.

They outright LIE about their delivery estimates. I have to agree with several reviewers about the service. Absolutely outrageous that my furniture delivery was pushed out by another month, bringing us to 12 weeks waiting for our furniture. The design process was good, but it is absolutely unacceptable to give bogus delivery estimates. Wont be shopping here again.

These idiots only know whats in front of their eyes. They dont go the extra mile to help you. They also treat you the way you look -- if you go there alone they completely ignore you. I guess they think you cant afford their crap just by seeing a single, older woman come in to their store.

Tried to get the catalogues cancelled over the phone but got a rude employee who hung up on me. 3:30 pm Friday April 1, 2016. Not a great customer experience.
