TODAY IS FRIDAY, JULY 22, 2011, AND I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO ASHLEY CUSTOMER SERVICES AND MANAGER FOR THE PAST 6 DAYS; 4-5 TIMES A DAY. MY REASON: UH DAMAGE DRESSER AND CHEST. SCRATCHED UP AND BEAT UP. AS SOON AS I NOTICED IT I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THAT A TECHNICAN WILL BE COMING TO MY HOME. THE TECHICAN ARRIVED AND LEFT MY FURNITURE THE SAME WAY AS IT ORIGNALLY WAS. I CALLED ASHLEY FURNITURE AS SOON AS THE TECHNICAN LEFT. I WAS DEALING WITH A LADY NAMED TYRESSA, TYRESSA ASKED MY TO E-MAIL THEM PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED FURNITURE. SHE ALSO SAID THAT THE TECHNICAN WONT HAVE A REPORT AND PICTURES READY UNITL THE NEXT DAY. SO A LONG STORY SHORT;I TRANSFERED TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND THE ALL SAID THAT THEY WOULDNT BE ABLE TO ORDER ME NEW FURNITURE AND THAT THE DAMAGE IS REPAIREDABLE BUT THE TECH COULDNT FIX IT. I AGRUED WITH THEM AND THEY WOULDNT BUDGE. I TOLD THEM THAT I BOUGHT NEW FURNITURE NOT SCRATCHED UP ONES. IN THAT CASE I WOULD OF GONE TO THE FLEA MARKET OR SECOND HAND STORE. I ALSO TOLD THEM THAT THEIR NOT GIVING ME ANYTHING FOR FREE. THEY STILL TOLD ME THAT THERE WILL BE NO EXCHANGE OR REFUND. THEY ALSO SAID THAT IF I WANTED AN EXCHANGE, THAT I NEEDED TO CALL WITHIN 24 HRS. I AM SO MAD AND AGGRAVATED I JUST WANTED TO RENT A U-HAUL AND SEND THEIR CRAP BACK. I COULD NOT AND WOULD NOT BUDGE WITH THEIR ANSWER. FINALLY AFTER CALLING THEM FOR DAYS AND MANY TIMES A DAY. I HAD TO ARGUING WITH TYRESSA AND THE CORPORATE MANAGER NAMED ANGELA, THEY FINALLY SAID "YES" BUT HOLLY CRAP I WENT THROUGH ANGER AND STRESS WITH THEM TO END UP FINALLY SAYING "YES". I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, THIS IS A LESSON TO BE LEARNED. THEY PAINT YOU A PRETTY PICTURE AND MAKE EVERYTHING SEEM LIKE A GOOD CHOICE BUT AS SOON AS YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR THE LITERALLY GIVE YOU THE BOOT. TRUST ME I AM NOT SAYING THIS FOR NOTHING. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE. ALL THEY DO IS SAY NO OR SAY THAT THE FURNITURE IS REPAIREDABLE AND THAT IT COULD BE FIXED. BULL!!! WOW THEY LIE AND TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS POORLY. BY THE WAY I BOUGHT MY FURNITURE IN FAIRFIELD, CA.....

DO NOT GO HERE! We purchased couches and a headboard from them in January. While the shopping experience was normal, everything that happened afterward has been a nightmare. First, they delivered the wrong couch. Which meant I had to call their warehouse, wait on hold for close to an hour to reschedule the delivery. Yes, I had to make the call. I called the store to let them know and requested a credit for the delivery fee back to my account. They said they would. Then when they delivered a broken couch. I then had to call again, waiting on hold for close to an hour, to schedule a repair. I called the store again letting them know about the broken couch, they said they would issue me a store credit on top of the credit for the delivery fee. The repair person came and said he had to order parts. Then once the parts arrived I would have to call the warehouse again to schedule the repair. It took close to two weeks to get the parts and again I called, waited the hour and made my appointment. I called the store again today to see why I havent received my credit to the card or my store credit. The person I spoke to was very nice but wouldnt be able to help me until Saturday when the Finance Director was in. This is insane, still no credit to my card, still no store credit three months later. I have had to work so hard to get my items, countless calls and emails and no one has been able to help me. It seems to me that you should not have to work this hard to get items that you bought. I will never go back or recommend this to anyone after I use my store credit, if I ever get it, you would have better luck with Target or Walmart with much less hassle.

Despite the negative reviews I actually had a fairly pleasant experience with Ashleys Home Furniture! Ill start with first day coming in... Walked in towards the end of the night on a Wednesday and of course like everyone said it took a second for someone to greet me (which I prefer, otherwise I feel youre pushing a sale.) Anyway, was addressed after 10 mins of walking around, by one of the managers, nice guy but kinda got the pitch vibe. I dont know when she made her way over but Jessica popped in and walked around just engaging in conversation with me and whatnot. After-awhile I guess the guy got tired of me and realized I wasnt purchasing anything and had to go "check on something" and "be right back." Jessica stayed...totally failed to mention she was off clock and had just come in to grab something she left. Anyway she helped me come to a decision and I told her Id be back to specifically work with her...she gave me her schedule... Fast forward to my purchase day (2 days later)...Jessica again was very patient with me and my indecisiveness. After everything was said and done, paid for my purchase and the waiting game... I docked off one star because I had to wait an entire month and a half for my furniture to arrive as it was on backorder... Delivery day was yesterday (May 13th) and other than them arriving at 3:05p when my window time was between 11a-3p, the process was quick and easy. Will follow up if I have any issues after usage, but if nothing consider everything kosher!

They have a good selection of furniture but I think most of their things are over priced as I found the same exact things somewhere else for cheaper. Their costumer service sucks , I ordered a lot of furniture from them to furnish my new home. They ended up not shipping a few things and when I called it was hard for me to actually talk to someone to help me. So I had to physically go there to get it resolved. Come to find some of my items were not available till months months later. I actually had to go there a few times because they would send some things but miss other things. And the people trying to figure out why it wasnt sent have really no idea what theyre doing And it takes long for them to figure out what went wrong. It was more of a hassle than anything. I just gave up on a painting for my daughters room that never came. It came in a furniture package and it was more of a headache to keep dealing with them and trying to argue for it , I just let that item slide. About exactly a year later the item arrives. A whole year! lol and also I think they had also sent a wrong item. This place is so dis organized. I wouldnt recommend this place , save yourself the headache and trouble.

When we walked into Ashley furniture in Fairfield no one greeted us or asked us if we needed help. We actually had to search through the store to get help on prices for a table. This should have been our first warning. We ended up purchasing a table with a set delivery date of 7 days. We are now 2 weeks out and called the company. We got the run around and transferred at least 3 times without being told we were being transferred. Come to find out the tables are marked as unavailable and no one has any idea where it is. Yet somehow they keep telling us an expected delivery date. While we were on the phone or delivery date changed, how does it keep changing if no one even knows where the table is. They say they are calling corporate tomorrow and will have it figured out or we will get all our money back and not charge us the restocking fee. Im not holding my breath. I suggest no one ever shop at Ashley Furniture because it is a huge scam with horrible customer service!!!
