FREAKING INCREDIBLE! Several years ago I quite by accident discovered this GEM of a shop and tell all of my best friends about it. I have purchased so many unique pieces for my home from them, its just outrageous. I try to go in every now/then because TRULY I never know what incredible finds will be awaiting me. On top of all that the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I was forced to sort of start all over again with furnishings and because their prices are so outrageously inexpensive plus the pieces either unique or extremely classic design, nobody could ever guess I did it all on a shoestring! Now, that I have more means ivevlearned I dont need to pay top dollar for unique and elegant furnishings....

The turnover of furniture at this store takes place almost daily. I never know what I will find when I enter the doors. The staff is very friendly and if they arent completely knowledgeable about an item that I find there, they will do the research. This store is unique. It is part of a non-profit that supports black community programs. I have volunteered a couple of times and it is actually quite fun. So, whether you need furniture or would like to contribut some time, I would highly recomment Uhuru Furniture.

Stop here often! I have bought two couches, a bedroom set, large file cabinet, collectibles... I could go on. Everything is donated and proceeds go to defending the civil and human rights of the African community and addresses the disparities faced by the African community in education, health, health care and economic development. Win, win, win!! Best gem in the bay

Theyve got a great selection of furniture, particularly dining tables and chairs, side tables, and storage furniture. Theyve just expanded into the next door space, doubling their available items. I come in here every few weeks just to see what they have in stock. Low prices and friendly service.

This is a really good place to find used furniture. They have good stuff, but not support fancy "vintage" stuff that people charge more for than when it was new. The staff here is super friendly and helpful.
