I am writing to report how disappointed I feel with this business. I had had my bike shipped by them and when I received it and assembled it, several parts were missing and some pieces were rolling around on the floor of the box. When I called, I was told to send photos, which I did, but then I never heard back from them. No apology, no explanation, no offer for reimbursement of any kind. It was very expensive to ship and I had also had my bike serviced there previously. I had to contact the shipping company Bike Flights, who have been very helpful and nice. I had to take my bike for an estimate for the repairs and am waiting for it. So I was inconvenienced from using my bike and had to spend time taking it to get repaired. I understand that things happen with shipping, but I am disappointed more with the poor customer service of GoRide. I would not recommend using them at all.

I bought a Giant Anthem 29er at this shop about 8 months ago. I dropped in today with my son for a tune-up for my bike (free!) and I was helped right away by the owner. He asked all the right questions and provided great customer service...beyond what I would have expected. Again, this is a free checkup but i was treated like a valuable customer. I hadnt mentioned it to the owner but I had been researching new bikes for my son and knew they had a nice Scott Genius 730 on clearance at a great price. After a fitting and test ride we bought the bike. An hour later my son was tearing up trails in Water Dog Lake in Belmont. He loves the new bike and I was happy to give Goride Redwood City my business. Very friendly and helpful staff!

I had a lovely bike buying experience here. First off they had a last years model Giant (Defy Advanced Pro 2) at a large discount that was the perfect bike for me. Second, over like 3 hours, they put up with me trying 3 different bike, 3 times each(!), on the way to making my choice. They were completely patient and supportive. Third, when fitting me to the bike (which they did carefully and informatively), they urged me to change my long time riding position quite a bit. They did this so well that Ive actually kept the new position they suggested and indeed it seems to be a significant improvement. A tip for first time visitors, park in the lot behind the shop!

Today I purchased a pair of cycling shoes and pedals. The staff was very professional and knowledgable. I am new to being clipped in on the bike. I was allowed to practice in the back parking lot clipping in and out of the pedals. I was able to ride away with confidence. Yesterday I tried to buy shoes and pedals at REI and nobody who worked there bothered to wait on me. A friend sent me to Go Ride and I am happy I went.

Got my last mountain bike here. Got an amazing deal on amazing bike. Very happy all around. Update 20150909: Have been back to the shop several times to have the bike serviced, and have no complaints. Additionally I had a problem with a poorly designed Saris product I purchased from them. They advocated for me with Saris, and had the product replaced by the newer, better designed version after several months of use.

I have been a customer for five years and have always been treated in the most professional manner from all the staff. The service manger Mike has always been able to keep my bikes running in perfect condition. I recently bought a new road bike from them and after visiting a few of the other local shops I know why I keep going back.

Went in to see a clearance bike they listed on their website. Geoff was quick to point out pros and cons, didnt try to upsell me and pulled down 3 bikes to try. Ended up coming back after they built up a different size for me to try. Bought it and have been happily riding. Try to point everyone I know there.

The team here has taken good care of me and my bike several times. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and fair with their services and pricing. I am pretty hard on my equipment and bring it in frequently for tune-ups, which are free with purchase of the bike. Good experiences all around.

This is a great bike shop and I would recommend buying your next bike here. The staff, especially the owner Bob, is knowledgable and patient, will give you the best deal in town on the bike, and make sure you are setup correctly. They also provide lifetime service.

Great bike store, my favorite in the Peninsula. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The prices on parts and tuneups are good. There are huge sales on later model bikes, which you can find on the website. Highly recommend to anyone looking to pick up a road bike.

I have bought two bikes from this shop. I literally searched the internet for a specific bike and found the best buy at Go Ride. They also have lifetime free tune ups, which I have used a few times. Great place and very knowledgeable staff.

Bad customer service, I was buzzed around by two of the staff members in a very rude and arogant way. I got my stuff but will never go shopping there again. IMO they want to rip you off selling new stuff rather than help you out!
