Im not one to give a negative review normally, but this store has really frustrated me. I spend on average $1,000 a year on shoes at this store. I keep 80 percent of them but I return them if I dont get at least 6-9 months out of them especially because I have so many shoes that they dont get much mileage. Every time I have tried to return something regardless of the condition they give me grief about it! Seriously! Why have a return policy for 1 year if you really dont want anybody to return anything ever? Never again. I will buy my stuff cheaper online from elsewhere.

Five stars. This is the industry standard for outdoor and adventure gear. Over the years, Im sure Ive spent a couple grand here, but I always feel that either: A) Im getting a fair price B) Ill try out the gear and return it if I dont like it C) Im getting a fair price on used gear at the Garage Sale. My kids love this place, too. They like to play in the tents. Plus, the repair shop is very fair.

Good REI good selection and the staff are great, really helpful. New packs and new shoes socks etc all important decisions and they made sure i was sized perfectly for my pack and helped me figure out what i wanted based on my own philosophy (lighter the better). The only one with better selection would be in Tustin. they seem to be stocked with every random product.

If you really are into outdoors activities, this would be a good place for you. Yes, many of the things can be higher end and expensive, but they catered to more seasoned adventurers expecting quality products. Maintenance items (tubes, lubes, ect) for my bike are similarly priced as others. I have gotten good deals on many of the clearance items.

I love REI but have had a few bad experiences at this location. The guy in the bike shop is really rude and the employees seem upset when I returned a tent that was missing a piece when I bought it. Cmon guys give me a break I spent almost 3k here last month.. Id try the REI in Tustin, its the biggest one in SoCal and their employees are CRAZY HELPFUL.

Wished i knew his name, but the guy at the shoe section was awesome. He was patient and very knowledgeable. This employee helped me realize I had been tying my boots the wrong way (BOOM!!!! Like an epiphany) this whole time. I was able to find a good pair of hiking boots that fit right and were in my price range.

I have never not been helped with I am out there. The staff is really helpful and the items are top quality. Oftentimes I go in here with the intent to browse and leave with at least one item. If I had to wonder where my money went, I would come here. This tailors all my interests for outdoor gear.

I love shopping here. My wallet doesnt though. You can always find something you need, even if it means you backpack goes 10 pounds overweight. Their prices are reasonable and the employees really know their stuff!
