Sporting stores are closing faster than ever before. Ive been shopping at Big 5 Sporting goods stores since I was a kid, MANY years ago. From my high school days to now into my 40s, when I see the Big 5, I know Im shopping at the right place. This location is great, close to home AND the staff is very friendly. Most of all, they are all ready to help find that one item that is sitting right in front of your nose but you cant seem to be able to spot. This store has been my go to spot for the last five years.

Everytime I come shopping here I almost never have a problem. In fact the one time I did have a problem, which was a defective bodyboard, the management was quick to resolve my issue by having me bring my receipt and the bodyboard and just exchange it for another (they did offer to refund my money and help me purchase a different one but I just need it replaced). In less than 2 minutes, I was a satisfied customer again. Thank you so very much you guys are awesome.

There manager has the worst attitude ever. The lady cashier was not sure about the sale on the item so she said she has to ask the manager. Manager comes and I asked in a polite way smiling "we need you to see if you can extend the sale on this item, what the cashier told me about" His reply was very rudely "if you are asking me then I can see but if you are telling me then NO". The worst place to go as manager has no customer service experience!!!!!!!

The place is kind of a mess, but theyve got a pretty good assortment of various sporting things needed. I started swimming at the gym recently and needed a swim cap, some goggles, and ear plugs. They had these things available to me and it was convenient that I didnt have to wait for Amazon to deliver them; especially since were in the middle of Winter and finding swimming accessories isnt the easiest thing.

Was trying to buy some shoes and couldnt get anyone to help me get my size! No one ever came up to me or even asked me if i needed help, had a few questions! finally went up to the counter while to ask for help while employees are talking to each other about youtube videos in one section and other employees talking about vacation in the gun/knife section!!! POOR MANAGEMENT!!!

You can always count on Big 5 for a good deal on shoes and cleats! Has a large variety of sports equipment. Enough to cover most sports. I come here specifically for Easton baseball cleats. They have really good sales every now and then where you save some cash. There are some items that are over priced but over all a good place to shop sports.

Helpful staff -- most are knowledgeable, some not so much. The value for the price is excellent. Good selection of goods. Most shoes are last years to two years ago models. We purchase most of our sporting goods here. We purchase elite level equipment elsewhere.

For all of your sporting goods needed you can count on Big 5. But you must get in before each sports season begins to get what you need because its limited to stock and it goes off the shelves pretty darn fast.

Not very helpful prices way too high I was trying to get a cooling towel and there were like 20 bucks and I can go to Kohls and get like 10 bucks cheaper

Good store - sale prices can be 20% less than best prices on-line. Small selection but usually have what you need from boots to ammo at decent price.
