Took my money for a mattress and scheduled delivery for Sunday. Get a call, they give me a 7:45-9:45 delivery window. I wait, nobody shows up. At 10 I call and they tell me they know the mattress wont be delivered at all and they have no other info. Why didnt they call me to cancel the delivery? I go to the store to get my money back and tell the manager Dane that they are running a Mickey Mouse operation. He laughs and says he gets that a lot. Maybe they should just go out of business and stop wasting everybodys time. It gets better. I paid with card bust asked for my money back in cash because I didnt want to risk them screwing up the refund. They had the cash in front of me and then as I was explaining what happened to the store manager with some colorful language she decided to further screw me over and canceled the cash refund and said I would eventually see my money credited to my credit card. Then she kicked me out of the store. Her name is Leslie. Never deal with her if you can help it. Better yet just dont shop at Sears.

Dont do Sears. No wonder the company is going out if business. They are severely understaffed and also break return/warranty contracts. Years ago, I got a Craftsmen tool at OSH that was defective. Under the warranty and returns info, I was allowed to return it exchange it to the original place of purchase or any Sears store. When I brought it into this Sears, the cashier was about to exchange it when the manager stepped in and said no, and I they dont do such things and I need to go to OSH. Pretty much Sears and Craftsmen broke an agreed upon contract. That was one incident. The other time I was in the store to buy 3 small things, there was just 1 cashier with an extremely long line. Had to wait an incredible amount of time for a $30 purchase. Very understaffed and the entire store was pretty much looked like a ghost town. Sears is going down hill. I dont recommend this or any Sears store.

worst experience ever buying appliances! Unfortunately, Sears uses a logistic company name Border Transfer, who is horrible and unprofessional. They dropped off a washer and dryer in the middle of my garage, instead of installing it as contracted to do so. They promised to come back and finish the job, but never did. After asking for a refund, Sears agreed to return the item and having it picked up, but could not do so until after an additional 3 weeks, which would start my credit card payments. When they were supposed to pick it up 3 weeks later, they again failed to do so, after having me wait all day for the "confirmed" pick up date! The appliances are still on my garage, uninstalled and not returned either. I will never buy anything that requires deliver from Sears nor from any company that uses Border Transfer out of Benicia!

I am so disappointed with Sears repair service that I will never buy anything made by Kenmore again. My request for wash machine repair made on 9/23/2016 could not be scheduled until 10/6/2016. When that day arrived my service technician did not. I called Sears and was told the technician was running late and would be here in the late afternoon/early evening. They did not show up nor did they call. This morning, 10/7/2016, I called and was told I had been re-scheduled for Wednesday 10/12/2016. This was done without even notifying me. After complaining to a supervisor I was then re-scheduled for Monday, 10/10/2016, and offered a 20% discount. Meanwhile our clothes are locked in the wash machine, molding, (the door wont open). I am now going to look for a local repair service. NEVER AGAIN SEARS!!!

I recently had a very unpleasant shopping experience. Before I went to the store, I did my homework. I know which one I wanna try, and which one I wanna buy. I went to the store, and sales from other department helped me for the purchasing process. Then I asked him how much was the installation. He asked his manager, the manager told us its about 140 dollars. So we decided to do it on our own. Then, they told us the shipping fee is 99 dollars. I was surprised that because its free online. So I told them that, on the website, its free. Then the manager told me that I have to use Sears credit card to get free shipping. Then we left. The manger is not professional at all. He is not honest. I went home, the shipping is free. the installation is 69.99 dollars. I felt so angry.

Only giving 1 star because there is not a zero rating. Paid for fully built barbecue grill. Delivery guy brought the grill unassembled in a box. told me I needed to contact installation and they could arrange to have grill built. Called installation and they are not available. Called the store during store hours and operator transferred me to a clerk who transferred me to a line that kept ringing and then hung up. Called back operator and they do not answer.

Went to Sears to purchase an emerald necklace (on a budget). I was completely ignored by 3 employees at jewelry counter. They had more important things to do apparently. I cannot believe the employees boyfriend is such a jerk... I then went downstairs to look for a lightbulb. When asked where there were I was pointed in a vague direction. Well, I know your company is in trouble. Might want to find some competent employees and managers. The store is a joke.

Absolutely great customer service in the fine jewelry department. A woman named Karen that previously worked in Hayward helped me so much. She seriously went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for and made sure I was happy. Her attitude and customer service made a difference in the whole experience. I will be back to continue to bring my business here specifically because of this experience

And they wonder why theyre hurting... Went today to the appliance department and nobody asked me if I needed help or anything like that. Went on-line this evening to look at the models I was interested in and had a question. Tried to call twice, and it just rang and rang. These guys simply are not in the business of selling appliances. What a mess!

Our Sales person was great and provided excellent customer service, but what good is a business card that gives you the number to a call center, and you can never reach anyone in the actual store. I have spent hold times in excess of 30 minutes trying to speak with someone in a store. They need a better system!

Dont bother with the mens shoe department. Nobody is ever there and sales people in other departments ignore you. Also if you try to call that dept. no one will answer. I even called the main no. for an operator and got disconnected twice. They will be going away soon like all the other Sears.

Please hurry up and fold up this dinosaur and stop torturing customers with complete incompetence. Sears should have been out of business long, long ago. I could write a volume describing the nightmare of purchasing a washer and dryer from them. It became comical after a while. Stay far away!
