I do not know what more a wine lover or a wine newbie could ask for. This big little wine shop has it all: unique selections that were truly selected by the experienced, knowledgable wine loving owner and buyer - they know their wines, in detail and can be relied on to make amazing suggestions; helpful service that really WOWS; and in-store wine tastings to boot. Rebecca helped me out in a pinch, after I called her the morning of my husbands birthday with a request to be my personal shopper. We discussed our likes and dislikes and my budget. Three hours later when I met her at the shop, she wowed me with her amazing selections that were exactly what I wanted yet didnt require me to do all the tedious research. Rebecca knew her wines and reviewed information about each bottle with me. I told her I wished I had videotaped her commentary and then when I asked if she might email some notes, she generously agreed. Not 2 days later I had three pages of notes about my wines. Some people think Vin Vino is "the expensive" wine shop - and you can find some expensive wines there. But, she managed to meet my budget yet provided 1/2 case more than I expected thanks to a generous multi-case discount on top of some already discounted sampler sets. Also, while I was in the shop, she steered a self-described wine newbie to a very affordable ($15) and food friendly Pinot Noir to take to a casual dinner party later that night. (Much better than the Merlot the newbie thought she wanted.) Another customer, a regular, bought 3 bottles on special for $10/each. Vin Vino also offers daily tastings. I know I will be back to try that, as well as buy more wine.

I called and asked for the owner because I wanted to discuss a possible large purchase and did not want to deal with a possible miscommunication with a less knowledgable salesperson, and also to see what kind of large order price I could get I was rudely told "NO SALES CALLS" and hung up on. Well I guess the dont want to MAKE a sale with me, I will take my business elsewhere.

Eclectic, minimalist wine bar with a crowd of regulars who return over and over to taste the stunning wine samplers (mostly high-end French, but with some German and Italian thrown in). They also have affordable wines for purchase and/or tasting.

Spot for connoisseurs, you can spot the wine makers, and taste some good vine.
