This location is small but value-packed, both in terms of selection and knowledge. Not only have the staff seemingly tasted everything in inventory, but they can talk about wine: fruit-acid balance, vintage comparisons, regional and country differences for a particular grape, and best of all -- food pairings. My last two dinner parties were at a higher level, thanks to the recommendations of staff (shoutouts to Aaron and Maurisio). Prices are *great* -- below BevMo for the same items. Their tasting prices are extremely reasonable, too. Im going to a "summer wines" tasting event today, where Ill sample 12 wines for $15. The only negative about the place is its small size. While the selection is very interesting, its not very deep, except for seasonally popular varieties, such as sauv. blanc in the summer. Size isnt everything, considering the quality of wines they sell, but there have been a few wines and wineries Ive been interested in that were not represented (and Im not terribly experienced in my tastes). All things considered, this place is a treasure.

This is THE place to get wine. This isnt some chain liquor store. The employees here are wine enthusiasts. Very knowledgeable and able to recommend a winner everytime. The selection is vast, well organized, and you wont come across many wines that chain stores carry. Not in the mood for wine? It happens. They also have a surprising collection of craft beers and liquor, particularly scotch and whiskey. Prices are great too. Been going here for 4 years and highly recommend it for wine newbies looking for guidance and veteran drinkers looking for a treasure trove. They have tasting events everyday and they seem popular, though Ive never gone myself.

My first experience here was excellent. I spoke to a gentleman about the IPAs I was currently enjoying and he recommended a few that had similar flavor profiles — one of which has become an all time favorite. He was enthusiastic and knowledgable. The three stars of my review are for that experience alone. The last few experiences have fallen short unfortunately. The staff have either ignored me completely, or offered half-hearted wine recommendations with no additional info or description. I dont need much, but I do appreciate an effort.

There are not enough good things to say about Wine Club. I primarily shop for beer and whisk(e)y here, and for both of those they have a small but excellent selection with good prices. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. Add to that the regular wine and beer tastings and I wish I could live here!

Great selection of wines from regions around the world. Folks are quite helpful. Prices are not the lowest Ive seen, but I dont mind spending a little more to support a local retail establishment that keeps an abundant stock of high quality choices.
