The cat and I have dramatically switched things up since we both moved - new litter box, new food, and an aggressive daily workout to help us both lose weight however, she still eats a lot and the weight loss is progressing but not as fast as wed like it. The vet recommended I put her on slim cat. On my way home, I decided to pull into this Petco to see if they had the slim cat. Sadly, their dog section is way bigger than their cat section. Theres only two aisles dedicated to cats vs the whole store being dedicated to dogs. Upon asking, they said they didnt sell much cat stuff. Boo. Overall, service sucked. The store is tiny and needless to say, they did not have the slim cat. Next!

I do not like going to this petco. I have gone about 3 times now, and each time is just as bad. The staff are very unwelcoming. They seem like they could care less about being at work. Trying to find an employee to help answer questions is near impossible. Its like theyre purposely avoiding customers. And, when you do find one, they are short with you and arent too helpful. Their WORST employee is Cody. He doesnt make eye contact, doesnt greet you, and just throws around your merchandise. He needs to either learn customer service or be fired. I dread having him as my cashier. This petco needs to step it up with their employees customer service skills.

Our laberdoodle has been groomed here all of his life and he has always loved it (at least 5 years) recently there is new group of groomers and the service and quality sucks, on top of that, they said our dog was aggressive and would no longer accept him,,, SERIOUSLY? We noticed that going to Petco wasnt exciting him like it had,,, I really wonder what they are doing to the animals back there to make them "try to bite" the groomers. We will find a less corporate place with groomers who care.

Adopted my Gracie, orange tabby 1 yr old, from there last week. She is delightful and running her sister, Hannah, ragged. Hannah doesnt understand why Mom would bring another cat into the house. She liked being the only cat. I loved that they have a huge cat room for adoptable cats. You can go and sit and play with them, and that is what I did. Gracie was the only one that really seemed to be what I was looking for. Its a program between OC Shelter and Petco, and its working.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always feel welcomed with dogs. Groomers were great with both my yearling yellow lab and cocker puppy. Prices were reasonable. Cocker pooped on floor on way out and a staff member was the there immediately to clean it up. Thanks guys, or shall I say girls!

I have always gotten excellent service here. They were so helpful picking a friendly hamster, (let my daughter hold a few). They were very helpful with picking a beta fish with a mini aquarium. Ive gotten a lot of good advice on which dog and cat food to buy. They are great!

Its really hard to get help in the tropical fish department. The one guy tried to help me, but had to text a friend and ask him the question I had asked. Other than that, they try to be helpful.

The place is always clean. The regularly stocked food I buy is not always there though. 50% of the time i have to go to another store. Employees are nice but dont go out of the way to help.
