Iwas in there when I spied a real nice collar behind the counter. I asked to see it and the lady snapped" thats a very exspensive custom collar" And I said may I please see it as I was looking for a collar well made for my dobie. "well just remember, that isnt yours" I then made the mistake of asking to see a doberman figure behind her. Once again, "those run about $80.00 are you going to buy it. I dont wanna start taking these out if your just looking" This woman assumed I was a pan-handler or something. I guess she didnt see the vette I pulled up in. Or the jewelry I had on or the fact I actually own a house in FV. Then theres the guy who owns the place. A pompous, vapid jerk. I try real hard not to shop there but they do carry alot of neat stuff. One of my dogs fav toys is a squeaky tennis ball that is $3 cheaper at the grocery store so I think they are quite $$$ especially the rawhides. They do not get my custom collar orders. I buy online.

Too bad people gave this place a bad review but honestly this place is awesome! they know more about pets then any of the other big brand pet chain stores. They stock up on all the top quality foods and wont try to push you to buy any of the mass marketed crap foods the other chain stores will push on you. The quality of the foods and selection is the best around. The store itself isnt meticulously well kept, and a bit musty. I dont feel fresh and clean when I come here but Im only coming for my pet supplies and foods, so it doesnt matter. The workers may not look like professionals but they are pet owners who love and care for pets and know a ton more then your avg chain store employee regurgitating what the dog food brand managers tell them to say to consumers. I buy Orijen and this place has it, any place that sells Orijen and holistic dog foods is an A+ in my book!

I was out of dry cat food brand "Fussie Cat" and needed a new bag ASAP. I was going to buy the dry cat food from Amazon, but didnt want to wait the 2 days for it to arrive. I did a quick google search and found this store. During my visit, I was acknowledged from the workers, but never got helped, it was okay cause they seemed occupied helping other customers. I ended up browsing the entire store myself. The store was divided into two sections, one side for cats, and one side for dogs and other pets. The cat side was stocked with everything you would need for a cat. (scratching post, liter box, cat beds, toys, etc) They have an entire wall of just cat food. I found my brand of cat food Fussie Cat which was well stocked and made my way to the register. 5/5 would shop here again.

Usually a good place but their information is not the best or the employees dont know things they need to etc. I asked what time they closed in case I needed to do a return (they have a same day return policy only for money back) and I was told they closed at 8. I thought I had plenty of time to do my errands and figure out if I really needed the item or not. Needless to say I found it cheaper elsewhere and went to return it before 730 and much to my surprise they were closed. They apparently close at 6 not 8. 2hrs difference is huge. The staff needs to work on communication or something. Waste of gas and time and now pretty irritated that I will have to get store credit now instead of my money back because of that one employees mistake.. Not pleased.

I usually have very good service this is why I shop there and the prices are better then any I have read about Garty, I would give him a break, I dont do rudness so if he is rude I wouldnt deal with him I would just ask another employee because I do like the store. I met Gary when he had the little store in FV. I think he had a couple of more but not sure, He has brought in Pet Supply at Irvine, Huntington Beach,Fountain Valley, and Huntington Beach again, Maybe he is a lttle over worked maybe that is why he is a little short with people. But go to the other stores that sell animal products an pay so much more, I wont do it if I dont half to. so I give Gary the owner a 4

They have a lot of stuff but they dont practice floor space management at all. VERY disorganized... The people working there mentioned being family owned but that is no excuse to have an unorganized mess for a sales floor. The last time I went in there, the guy who owns the place (I assume) sold me on a "raw" diet for my new cat. My cat got soooooo sick. I took her to the vet and she told me the "raw" diet is unnecessary and people are usually duped into trying it. GO TO PETSMART!! IT"S CLEANER AND THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE ARE NICE!! And they dont try to up-sell you on frivolous items just to make a buck.

My vet sent me there for medicated shampoo. Since then Ive found his "Healthy Hips" chicken jerky (a little more expensive than elsewhere), vitamins that A) my dog likes and 2) my vet approves of, quality salmon oil supplement...every thing in one place. And my dog loves visiting with the store cat, getting a healthy treat from the staff and the selection of chewies at the counter. Oh yea, really helpful, when I couldnt remember the vitamins Ive been getting, they looked up my phone number and had record of everything. Even the first shampoo that didnt work which they exchanged.

Im so glad they dont sell pets there! This place has a lot of good products and a pharmacy as well but the owner, Gary, is beyond rude!! What an arrogant little man he is! I refuse to give him my business--and I have business to give! The employees seem to follow this bozos lead in terms of politeness. Who needs this? Too many other fine places to shop to waste your time with places like this. I am now going to Passionate Pet in Irvine. A bit expensive but Id rather support them than this dirt bag! Also there are always Petsmart and Petco.

This is by far my favorite place to buy pet supplies for my two cats. They carry the best brands and have always been able to answer any pet questions I have. I have talked to many different people that work there and each has always been patient, kind, and willing to help in any way. I HATE going to the big brand name stores (PetCo and PetsMart), these places are crazy overpriced and you dont get the same service you would at a small store like this.

I grew up in Fountain Valley and my family would buy from here often. I now live in Newport Beach, have a dog of my own, and swear by top quality dog food for him. Pet Supply is the cheapest place to get premium dog food and they dont try to force feed you crappy store brands. Speaking of cheap, they dont really mark up any of their products.. so dog collars here are a steal! I highly recommend this place for people trying to save a few bucks :)
