Bought a couch from Kantors and paid over 2K for it. In less than a year, the seldom used electric recline switches went bad. One side is up, and the other side is reclined. I went to the store and provided the serial numbers and was told the replacement switches would be shipped directly to me. Four months go by, I never received them. I sent a full page letter to Ken Kantor, asking about the switches, and describing other problems with the couch. I received a short note back asking for the numbers again, with no mention made about the other defects. To retrieve these numbers I have to turn the couch sections completely upside down. This is a big job for me, because Im not as young as I used to be. This couch is constructed with wood on the inner sides next to the arm rests that have no padding at all. The wife and I regularly bruise our hips on it when sitting down. It has a section where the seat is sprung, and when we sit there its like falling in a hole. This was a visually appealing but physically disappointing purchase, and we are completely unhappy with it. But we are also completely stuck with it. Remember this when shopping for furniture. There are many pieces out there that look nice, but the reality is they are poorly designed uncomfortable pieces of junk. I dont know who is manufacturing quality furniture anymore, but dont just trust your eyes. Our broken half reclined couch is a constant reminder of the mistake we made shopping at Kantors. Junk, just junk.

Oakbay Chiropractics recently purchased ergonomic chairs at Kantors and were quite impressed with their products as well as sales people. The Dr. guided me to Kantors Office Furniture website and a phone call later went down to the Companys showroom to sit in chairs that meet my needs. The salesperson Suzie, a "chair aficionado" had me sit in her chair, learn all its functions and settings- I was sold! Sales/Customer Service is excellent- honest, even provided tips not related to their products. As I mentioned viewing their product online I received a discount over the retail price. Suzie immediately called the warehouse to assemble my purchase at no charge for pickup the same day if desired! The saying, "you get what you pay for" is very true - a chair is a very important item if spending any length of time on it; your back is testament to this simple fact. Kantors is the place to go for a work chair. Spend the money now to support important body parts; its actually a very inexpensive way to care for our most prized possession for the long haul.

Spectacular service, spectacular prices. Couldnt recommend more highly. It is hard to find truly good deals on furniture, but the folks here actually have quality pieces at excellent prices.
