I literally never rate a place with 1 star, but a few hours after I went there I still feel annoyed by the service. First I had an appointment and even with the promise of 30 minutes oil change, they took 2:30 minutes, on top of that, the person in the white uniform who is suppose to be in the front desk, isnt here and I waited in the counter for another 30 minutes while I was watching him helping two girls with their car, I though that they have mechanics for that, my car was literally ready for 30 minutes, no costumers jus bad service. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE THE WORST TIME OF YOUR LIFE.

Worst place for a oil change. Took them over a hour and 20 minutes to service my car and on top of that when i got home after driving less then 2 miles my car started shaking. So, i popped the hood and realized the unprofessional guys at pepboys forgot to twist my engine oil cap back on. Now i got oil all over my engine. Called the store and asked for the service manager. after being placed on hold twice I finally got thru to rob. He promised to steam clean the engine and check who forgot to place the cap back on. I dont recommend you come here for a oil change. The guys couldnt even reset my maintenance light smh.

Fast and friendly service. Jonathan in Service is the man to ask for. My father took his car there for service because he was having issues with his battery. The work was performed in a timely fashion, they maintained communication with him and his vehicle was ready before the promise time. My father forgot his Pep Boys credit card but that was no problem, they were still able to charge the card with some basic information. All around excellent service. This team is the reason my father has been a life long customer of Pep Boys. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Took my car in to change a sensor that wasnt working and when I picked up the car, it had a horrible vibration, I took the car back and they couldnt figure out what it was. After giving me the run around and trying different things, they ended up saying that it was the motor mounts that were worn out and that they werent responsible for that and told me that I had to pick up my car otherwise they were going to start charging me storage, this went on for over three weeks. I would recommend you to take your car to a real mechanic.

I stop by for assistance and they were short with me and unwilling to talk. I was the asked to drive to The Torrance store for assistance. I asked him to call and he responded they are pretty busy would u like the number or you can drive there. He was repeating it $45 to service your car its gonna be $45. I only needed. Few min. Of their time. I am willing to pay for service but do not continue to push me off in a rude manor. I now understand why they have a bad reputation. This was my first and last time at this brand.

The parts department is great, knowledgeable and friendly. The service department on the other hand is pathetic. I came in to simply get the check engine code pulled from my car, I stood waiting for over 10 minutes unattended while the service advisors walked around seemingly pretending to do any work. The parts department is as I mentioned very helpful. I wouldnt trust my vehicle with them for repairs, but I would trust their parts department to get me the parts I need so I can take it to a real mechanic.

Inside the store I do not have any issues with it had a huge verity and is very clean and organized. There service center is very unfortunately the complete opposite. We had an appointment for a oil change at 11am and had us waiting for until 11:39 am. They do not do the services that they advertise and was very dissatisfied. They really need to step up there standards here. Will voice to there customer service center and will update my review if anything is addressed.

This place has horrible customer service. The guys just didnt want to work. Made excuses for everything my husband and U asked. I should have read reviews first. from employees from the service department . The ladies inside the store were helpful but the service department just did not care . Im glad I went down the street to the other pep boys in torrance . The guys there were awesome! Very helpful and happy to answer my questions .

BLUF: Go somewhere else. I made an appointment and took the car in right at 9 when the appointment was. They literally took all day to work on it after consistently telling me it would be done at 12.. came back then and the didnt even call for the part they knew I needed when I made the appointment. Then said 4.. 4 rolled by and nothing. Now its close to 6 and I havent seen anyone working on it the last hour.

Ive read several reviews of this Pep Boys online, and most of them werent good. I go to this store very frequently, and Take It From Me.., the service department should get an award for being the WORST in the game. Theres usually only 1 technician in the bay working on a car, but (on a good day you MIGHT see 2 if youre lucky, and if the groundhog saw his shadow the prior February)

Very bad service! I came to test for engine check lamp. First they told me wait for 30 mons then maybe 45 or an hour, after an hour I asked whats going on, service guy told me maybe you will wait for more 20 or maybe an hour more because a repairman went to lunch... I wasted my one hour for a simple test... He should tell me inadvance before I asked..

Terrible service. I guess fleet vehicles arent as important people paying with cash or credit. Waited 35 minutes for a signal light bulb replacement, other customers came in and got serviced right away. Now I have to deal with people calling in that Im cutting them off because my blinker doesnt work. Great job pep boys.

Good Parts store for automotive resources! However the service is an hour lag and a BIG WASTE OF TIME! Buying one product in-store takes 25min.. Im actually on hold this very moment for 17mins and 37secs.. And recording... Pick up the pace Slackers.. this world doesnt need more slackers only STRONG-MOTIVATED workers..

Had an 8am appointment for tire install. 9 hours later still havent got it done yet. NEVER again will I come here, if I could give a ZERO star rating I would. Technicians are walking playing grab ass while my truck is still sitting in garage. Horrible!!!!

Friendly, they checked the problem immediately for free. Unfortunately they couldnt schedule a quick repair in time as per my schedule.
