I want to stop and take a moment to thank each and everyone of the people who are employed at Auto Zone, Washington Blvd. Culver City. When the 2008 economy crunch hit, I owned a new 2007 beautiful Toyota Tundra. I had met the half way mark in payments but there was no end to this financial disaster in sight. I was forced to return my Tundra. With the minimal savings I had left after trying to hang on for 2 years. I purchased from Craigslist a 1970 Chevy C-20 camper, custom truck. Which in the first month I owned it the motor blew up. I had no other resources but Auto Zone, who met my every need. From Charles Nichols, Manager who has now moved to the La Cienega store Los Angeles, to Christian, Juan, Daniel, Carlos, David and the 2 new managers Chandler and Hector. Each of them have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me at every turn. There is not much more I can do to thank them than to acknowledge and write their praises for the 1 million and 1 questions I have had to ask them about my truck. Each time they were as courteous as the time before as they encouraged and cheered me on and convinced me I could do it. For now, I am considered a pretty good wrench and now people ask me to assist them with their cars. Thank you does express all that I feel for the wonderful people at Auto Zone. Sincerely, Joe E Haslam

I wouldnt even give this place 1 star if I could. I went in on Sunday morning to buy a new battery and the guy at the desk told me he can change it for me right then and there. I asked if he ever did this on my specific car model and he told me it would be a piece of cake. Great! 5 hours later, Im still stuck in the parking lot. He ended up blowing a fuse in my car and it would not turn on. I had to get towed, purchase a new starter, AND a cable. So, what should have cost me $150 for a battery ended up costing me $1200 because this moron had no idea what he was doing. Do NOT let any employee at Autozone work on your car - theyre basically kids who have no clue what they are doing. No one even came out and at least apologized for the inconvenience, they basically just left me there to deal with the mistake that THEY made, oh and pay for it.

AutoZone as a chain is great. THIS STORE is CRAP. I dont know if its the store or district manager that sets the tone here but somethings got to give. The employees are so rude and actually hostile to customers that Im surprised theyre able to keep their doors open. They will actually roll their eyes at you while youre looking right at them, then glare as if to say "I dare you to do something". Ive heard them openly insult customers, in front of other customers, so also embarrassing them. Besides walking around as though they are the keepers of all knowledge and the rest of us morons, they dont actually know a Goddamn thing about what theyre talking about! If youre in the area and in need of parts, do yourself a favor and go to OREILLYS, on Venice & Centinela. Really, this AutoZone sucks!!!!

Never in my life have I had an Auto Zone employee be SO rude and unhelpful. When told that he (Pablo L.) wasnt allowed to put the device in my car because of "regulations" I asked him to show me where to put the device and I would do it myself. To which he responded "No" and "You can watch a video on YouTube." Are you serious? I finally got the manager (I think her name was Nancy) to help me which she did but did not even acknowledge or apologize for her associate acting so rude. This auto zone needs a training lesson in customer service big time. Will never be back. Save your money and take your business elsewhere.

These guys were awesome! I recently took my car to another mechanic and asked if they could replace my center and right brake lights. They were successful with the center light but said the right side was stuck and they would have to break the light casing and replace it! So I paid way too much for the lights they did replace and took my car to this autozone the next day. Not only did they charge me $15 less than the other place for the bulbs they also were able to replace the brake light bulbs without braking the light casing! Saved me the hassle and money. of replacing the entire light bulbs and casing. :)

Sold me a defective alternator, then wouldnt take it back because their return policy excludes "used or installed" items (which itself is wtf?). The guy at the counter even gave me attitude for trying. This was the highlight of a bad experience that included being told the wrong delivery time (1 wasted trip), their computer being down (2nd wasted trip) and manager not present for the first attempted return (3rd wasted trip). Total 5 trips and $160 for literally nothing, plus my mechanic labor costs. P.S. The car was fixed by an alternator from a different store.

I dont know what Hector is talkin about, Ive been going to this Autozone for about seven years now... Not only will this place match any price you can find on the part, theyll also order it and get it for you within a day!! Import and Domestic Parts!!! When I was out of town, and my son was having a problem... I told him to go to autozone and ask for James the manager. The guy helped my son diagnose the problem he was having with his truck and even helped him fix it in the parkinglot!!! This place is truly great and the people there are even better!!!

I bought a duralast battery from this store and had to take it back to get it replaced 5 times in 3 months because they turned out to be defective and they kept trying to blame my car for messing the batteries up and each time they were proved wrong all they are are kids that know nothing about cars and are trying to learn as they go and the key words here are trying to learn and failing badly

I had an issue with my gas cap and needed a replacement turns out they had one left. The 2 gentleman were very professional and helped me borrow their one scanner tool and a wrench too to help me disconnect the battery on my car. Very knowledgeable people Im really grateful for you guys not letting stranded. World class customer service!! Thanks again!!

autozone has the parts i need for simple repairs to my vehicles. replacement bulbs, brake pads, not to mention a huge selection of car care products for washing like you really care! the only downside is that almost every time i visit, there is a far longer wait to check out than there should be!

Its an AutoZone and a small one at that, service is not exceptional and they never have the things I want in stock which I cant really blame them for but it is annoying. Its convenient if you are on the West Side just dont expect above and beyond service or experience in general.

These guys never have the sales flyer. How does someone know whats on sale besides walking through every single aisle? I dont have time to do that. This is the only Autozone I know that never has sales flyers for customers. That deserves a low rating for poor customer service
