Bad customer service to start. Took my truck to get a lift kit, new rims and tires. When I went in I ordered the rims and tires I wanted with an employee and I paid half of what they were charging me. The sales person told me to bring it in a week. I called before I took the truck in because I wanted to make sure everything was good to go. Turns out the guy that had been helping me this whole time was no longer working there. The new salesmen was rude and told me I couldnt come in for another week. The got the job done but I did not get the tires or rims I paid for but I didnt pick up the truck so I let it go. A couple weeks later my brakes line and ABS go out on the freeway so I had it towed back to 4wheel parts. I had to pay 150 dollars just so that they can be rude and blame it on me. They said I had to be off roading or run over something metal but the truck had no other damage then the brake line and ABS. They made a big scene and didnt let me take my truck out without a tow truck and forced me to sign waivers. I dont trust their mechanics or anyone there. I wouldnt let them touch my truck ever again. I spent 7 thousand dollars for a really bad job. Way over priced! I thought itd be worth pay more. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

EXTREMELY shoddy customer service and VERY draconian/asinine statutes in place at this location (not sure if it is just Van Nuys or corporate-wide). Brought in my 16 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab for a front bumper install. I had purchased a Ranch Hand Summit Series Front Bumper for my truck (Part #FSD13HBL1). This is a 100% VERIFIED correct fitment for my vehicle. 4WheelParts opted not to install the bumper stating that they, "Do not install parts that they do not directly sell." I can understand the liability issues if a customer brings in a used part, but this bumper was BRAND NEW, still in its shipping/packing materials. Come on guys, youre better than that. Unless you want to start losing clientele at a breakneck pace, it would behoove you to reverse this policy IMMEDIATELY. Took my truck and bumper up the street to 4 Wheel Specialties Unlimited and they took the truck and part in, no questions asked. Fellow 4x4ers, go there NOT here!

I recommended my brother in law to go check out the parts for his 4x4. He said customer service is really bad. He said he stood there as if he was not there. Staff just went in and out of a door without asking him if he needed something or they will be back in a minute. Finally another customer came and acknowledge him only then that the customer said he was here first.The manager has to let his workers know that it is the customers that pays their bills so the least they can do is acknowledge them so they dont feel alienated. I like 4X4 parts and will continue to go there. I dont know with my brother in law.:(

Ive seen some of the bad reviews and was concerned. BUT, Ive got nothing but great things to say about this crew. Yeah they get really busy and a customer could feel ignored. I tend to see that as a good thing in that this store is in demand. I like to do some wrenching of my own so I install a lot of my own stuff. I had my 35s installed here and they went beyond the normal install. I dont have a lift so the tires were rubbing, they trimmed the fender flares for the mean time. Sales guy tried to sell me a lift kit. Not OMG, thats what they do and when Im financially ready, Im going here.

FFFFFFFFF Wont install stuff that aint from their shop, even a simple leveling kit. Only their to help themselves and think only products they sell are the best which if they read around the real 4X4 community they are not!! They need to pay attention to detail and lend more asistance to the customer and not just drop them because they have someone at the counter. They never put out any fires I needed to put out, they should put you first a little more. The only thing good is the prices when they have the stuff in stock whih is rare.

There customer service sucks along with there half ass work, I spent 7500 dollars on whole pro comp lift kit, past 60 Mph my truck shakes, THEY MEANING (Tim) Said it would be cleanest ride,second they sold me a flash Pad they never installed, Wen I asked for them to install it or return it they gave me 10 different excuses than said they dont return them!!! Just a heads up me to you GO TO THOUSANDS OAKS ITS A DRIVE BUT SERVICE ON POINT

I see the same damn people in the front desk everytime I come in here and its seems like these fools are always on their rag or something. So damn rude and will give you a hard time if you dont know what youre talking about. How about explaining or giving suggestions or even just be nice to your customers for once. Dont be a bunch of white D.Trump loving assholes.

So, I was in the neigborhood visiting an old friend. Im from malibu, and the worst happened my car broke down. I felt lucky because it broke down in fron of this place. but it was like if I broke down in the middle of nowhere.. they did not assist me, first thing they said was no.. not even looking at my care! no help at all.

Ive been using this store for my vehicles for years, we are a truck, jeep family who love the outdoors and customize our vehicles. The sales staff are helpful and offer options to to us instead of just trying to sell us the most high dollar items out there. Give em a try when your ready to play with the big kids

Helpful associates and techs. The showroom is small and I would recommend researching and order parts to be picked up at the location prior to going there. They would be more than happy to awnser questions about them but they will most likely have to order it.

If I could it would be half a star. Pay top dollar for suspension replacement parts, and they mix stock, so drivers side doesnt match passengers side..."but its new stock, nothing we can do," well ill spend my money somewhere else.

Brought my 2000 XJ in for tires and an alignment. Steven at the service desk helped me out from when I arrived to when I picked up my rig. Service was great, I was kept up to date by phone, and the job was completed quickly.
