I took my Honda in at 85,000 miles for an oil change. The manual advises service every ten thousand miles, so this wasnt required, but I am obsessive about caring for my car, so I get an oil change between services. I told the rep that rotating the tires wasnt necessary, a perk on the discount card I received in the mail. An hour later, he phoned. His mechanic had performed a free safety inspection and discovered that I needed my cabin air filter changed and the fuel system cleaned and serviced. I would get a discount on that. That made me uneasy. I just wanted my oil changed. I had a very expensive routine service at 80,000 miles. But maybe they missed something. In any case, I dont know much about cars, so I went along. But I didnt feel good. It came to $170. Everyone was nice, and I have no evidence of shady dealing, but I felt uncomfortable. I dont plan to go back.

the store is not bad but the service department are a complete rip off. they put the wrong oil in my car which cost me 1500 bucks to get my engine fixed after i took it to them for an oil change . my girl also purchased a pair of wipers from there when she go the oil changed and they said the wipers will be installed for us no problem they were never installed and when we returned to either get our money back or get the wipers they said we were lying, so that turned into a big non business like altercation. take your car elsewhere this place is not worth it.

Rip-off!!! Every time I go for a regular oil change here, they say we have inspected your car and you have to replace/repair this and that. They are certainly trying to take advantage of customers by pushing to sell them what their cars really dont need. I realized this when they tried to convince me that my tires have some problems and need to be fixed, even though I recently had changed the tires IN THEIR SHOP!!!!!! Had been their customer for a while, but wont go there again. I really dont recommend these guys.

I usually prefer smaller local shops for auto work, but I havent had much luck finding a good one in the area. This Pep Boys has been picking up that slack, and so far, Im quite pleased. Ive only gotten some minor maintenance: oil changes, inspections, et cetera, but its been all hunky-dory. Staff is courteous, turnaround time is good, and service is great. I dont know how good they would be with major repair, but based on my experience so far, Id be willing to give them a try!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. very very unhelpful staff. They refused to do my appointment, which I made online , because they said they dont know how to fix hybrid batteries. So I wasted all my time driving there. If they had reviewed what I wrote down when reserving the appointment online, they could have called me ahead of my appointment and informed me of this. This is the second time they have wasted my time. DO NOT GO HERE.

This Pep Boys is good good-quality, the people here are hard-working straightforward and bold, had a flat tire, they fixed it within 15 minutes... call me lucky but his pet boys,l...thumbs up! As you can see that the interior Decour is completely different than what you see on the web, I took pictures to illustrate further, its a little on the outdated side, nevertheless basic services is solid.

I came in here for a check up because my car had been acting up. Come to find out I needed a lot of things done! Jesus and his team were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! I couldnt have asked for better service. I definitely plan on coming back for all my maintaince. Above all they dont scam you out of your money. They give you great deals and try to help you out as much as they can.

Came here for a wheel alignment check. Wouldnt tell me the acceptable range of the alignment unless I actually paid for an actual alignment (which defeats the whole purpose). The guy told me that it was off-alignment, I was not convinced, so I said no thanks, posted it online, and found that indeed it didnt need a realignment. Not coming back.

I came with a tire that needed to be patched up and the person that works here didnt even explain to me why he doesnt want to do a patch up he is just trying to convince me to buy a new tire. He was very cold he didnt care about my tire being low. I dont understand why anyone would go here and put up with this kind of bad service.

Ordering online make the repair process better but i got a battery replacement and the batter was not in stock when i got there and they had to go get one. You would think they would see the order online and prepare accordingly so I didnt have to wait extra time... but they didnt

The people inside were nice and very fast in service. The place has a t.v and wifi with free filtered water for customers. Although the area is. In a semi sketchy location, the employes were very kind, very knowledgeable and explain in detail the issues with my vehicles motor.

They are very nice & respectful to female customers. I wasnt taken advantage of even though a sista store (Santa Monica on Pico & 24th) completely tried to take me for a major ride. This location or the one on Pico 90064 is the best. Very honest & worth my time & MONEY.

Came in for an oil change. Did feel slightly ripped off since I normally go to a hole in the wall mom and pop shop. BUT they did a clean job and it was done in under 15 minutes. They even picked up on my bad air filters and changed those out too.

Jesus was fast, friendly, and got straight to the point. I thought my tire needed a whole new replacement but it was just a repair. So I left only spending $10. Was almost gonna go with a location in Van Nuys but these guys were way better.

Highly recommend. Tire air valve got lost, thought I had to buy a new tire to replace it. They replaced the valve and filled up the tire for no charge Definitely coming back for future car problems
