Be very careful buying here. We recently spent over $4,500 on a living room sofa set. The sofas had the tag "Real Natural Leather" and the tag stated, "...scratches, blemishes,...insects bites, are not defects, rather evidence of a natural product". It was expensive and the tag said all that so we thought we were buying real leather sofas. Our neighbor warned us that Living Spaces sells "bonded material" and that it is very inferior and will fall apart in a year. Bonded leather would never have scratches or insect bites and by them putting that tag on a bonded leather sofa...it is just false advertising. When I asked if it had been chemically bonded they said no! But when I came back the next day asking for the manufacturer info, they changed the story. They told me they would email the manufacture info, but never did! We found out by googling the product. When we asked to return the product the salesman admitted that the sides and back are chemically bonded and synthetic materials. He also said we had to still pay 10% if we return it! Delivery was also awful...they said the furniture would come at 8pm, but didnt arrive until nearly 1AM! We have not gotten a call back from the manager and have been told to pay a $500 restocking fee if we return the furniture. It has been a very expensive and frustration experience. Finally we were told they would pick up the furniture between 12-6 and I waited all day and no one came. The manager (Greg V) at the Huntington Beach store was very smug and rude. He is the one that gave us the pick up time, but we found out Greg never scheduled it. It feels like he did it on purpose to spite us for complaining that the sofa was misrepresented as all leather. Now we are suppose to wait again for another 6 hours tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the third day waiting over 6 hours for Living Spaces! I would be very careful before purchasing anything from here. Ask for the manufacturer information and dont trust the tags or management.

We recently bought a mattress at Living Spaces. Had some issues as my mattress was unable to be delivered the day before was told it was out of stock even though we were guaranteed they had one in stock. I we could not even order a new one because the mattress we selected was being discontinued. I tried to resolve the issue through calling Living Spaces but I was only able to speak to people at a call center. There is no actual phone number to the local store and the people at the call center will not connect you to the local store either I spent at least 2 hours on the phone with Living Spaces people including managers trying to resolve my issue. There were changes in the company policy between the time of our initial order and when we had to go back and reorder a new mattress. The changes and did up benefiting us so that was good. Long story short the issue was resolved but it was thanks to actually going into the store and speaking to the manager there. They also agreed that a call center was not very helpful and suggested to just come in next time if we have an issue, but that is not always convenient especially if you have a quick question and all you want to do is call the store and you cannot . The customer service call center is not very organized and does not seem to communicate very well with other departments, the local stores and as well as the delivery people. So my advice is to only deal with the people in the store if you have an issue and dont waste your time with the call center.

On 4/17/16 I purchased the 6 piece Maxwell couch set, Order# SO-1856208, all went well until I had an issue with an armless chair bottom cushion after only 3 weeks. It became very soft and had lost its firmness with very little use and Im only being at 186 lbs. Called Corp office, sent pictures, had tech come out who stated on his tech report that the cushion had become very soft and said corp would either fix or replace the chair. On 5/14/16 warranty dept. called to say the chair is not defective. There is no fixing it, no replacing it, and saying the firmness was a "customer preference." Going soft in 3 weeks with little use is not a "customer preference", its a 2,232.00 couch that is poorly manufactured, not to mention Living Spaces lack of accountability of the goods they sell. Every customer service person and manager I spoke to say nothing can be done, your claim and concerns are not valid. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Nobody at the customer service can make a decision, and the corporate managers will simply pass you along from manager to manager hopping you will give up. Now, I do not want the couch at all based on Corp Living Spaces terrible service. They refuse to be responsible for their products or goods sold either today or 3 years from now. Basically they offer a 7 Day warranty/return, they will do everything in their power in providing zero quality customer service if something were to be defective.

Worst customer service. Providing bad shipping, horrible customer service by phone and dont care about their customers. Put a bad review in their website Ana they wouldnt even let me post it. The highlighted section(s): contains shipping complaints, mentions customer service issues "Great couch but bad customer service from Living Spaces. I purchased a full set of furniture for my family room and also furniture for my bedroom. The sales person there was really nice and I will have to say the store staff was very helpful! Unfortunately after that everything was horrible. My order was put in multiple shipments. First shipment they brought in 2 items that were damaged and then they destroyed my home when bringing the furniture in. The second shipment that had to come in anothe day had another damages piece. I ended up having 5 different shipments where I had to take half a days work off! The customer service was no help and they did nothing to make sure I was a happy customer. I do like what I purchased but not sure I would ever deal with them again. Unfortunately they dont care about the customer after they get your money."

After finding the piece I wanted online I drove over to the store to view it in person and purchase (Ive made quite a few large purchases from this store). After arriving and finding the piece sitting on the show floor in the exact color I wanted, the rep who came to help me said she wanted to check stock first. She did so and came back and told me there was no stock on this piece available. I asked about other locations and ordering online and asked WHEN it would be back in stock and she said she didnt know and didnt even bother to find out that answer except to say it was very popular so I would need to pick another color. The floor model WAS my color but they wouldnt sell me that. I walked out feeling annoyed and went online in my car in the PARKING LOT and low and behold, there it was on the website - showing availability. I had issues buying it on my phone so I called the 877 number and spoke to a gal (i believe her name was Amelia?) who was a DELIGHT , processed the transaction and told me my recliner would be ready for pick-up at the HB LOCATION in a day or two.
