Just got a few things from them about a week ago or so. One thing I hate is when I go shopping with my wife that a damn sales person is following me around the store. If I tell you Im fine were just looking, stop freaking following me. Also the salesman insulted me by calling my wife, my mom. He apologized when I corrected him but damn if it were 5 years earlier I wouldnt have mind doing 90 days in jail for laying hands on him. None the less I did get a really nice loveseat that was overpriced but I got it because it was a really nice design. The bedroom set is nice but its cheaply made and overpriced. We bought that with they expectations of it not lasting more than 3 years. I wont buy our next set from there though. I really hate the aggressive sales people. I like to shop in peace, not with someone following me around. Although we bought a couple things that day they lost a much bigger sale that same day because we had in mind to spend 10K but because they were so pushy we got about a 1/3 of the things we needed from them. The rest we got elsewhere. Some advice for the employees there. If you see ppl come in greet them, let them know that if they need help to just come find you and then LET THEM SHOP IN PEACE. If they need you, theyll come find you. DO NOT FOLLOW PEOPLE AROUND.

Horrible experience. My uncle and I had went here to purchase a recliner. After $800 spent on a chair, not even the one he wanted, after 2 weeks the chair refused to close or open any further and was suck in position. We have been in compliance with the managers for weeks waiting to get his new chair. As it turns out theyll replace the chair for a cheaper counterpart. The chair they chose to replace it with was about half the cost and not electric like the first. We arent allowed to return and arent allowed to pick something out with equal or lesser value. Long story shot, cheaply made furniture with a less than satisfactory staff to help with the issue. Ive been hung up, put on hold for hours at a time, just to be told the manager is in a "meeting". Previous experience with me being a receptionist has led me to believe these meetings are non-existent and only to avoid the general population phone calls. But if you want to shop with crooks, so be it! Enjoy your broken furniture, that will be replaced with complete trash. Family, friends and myself will never be back. Youve lost potential customers, and current customers.

Bought a living room set here 4 years ago. There was a recliner couch, loveseat, and chair, and though it seemed to be well made (the frame is), the upholstery is garbage. We went with bonded leather, being told it was very durable. Yeah, right. Within 2 1/2 years of buying it, I noticed it was cracking. By the third year, it was peeling. We now have no leather left on the couches, and they are ripping. When it first started, I figured since we got the extended warranty it would cover it. WRONG. These warranties are a total waste of money. This being a manufacturers problem (so they said), it wasnt covered. They offered no help whatsoever. Now Im stuck with crap for furniture - just ripping material without any of the bonded leather left - and no recourse. I would never buy from this place again. Oh, to top it off? We also bought a mattress/box-spring set. The box spring cracked only 2 years after owning it, so the one corner of the bed sinks down. I would highly advise avoiding this place.

We have been purchasing furniture from this store for seven years and continue to be impressed with entire staff. From the management team, to the sales staff, and the delivery and service guys, they are a fine example of how a retail business should be run. On a few occasions we had minor issues with manufacturing defects and Deepak quickly jumped in and resolved the problem. In addition, we have shopped around from time to time and always found that Home Livings pricing beat everyone else. On our last delivery, which was this morning, the delivery guys even let my two sons help them put the couch together. One last item worth mentioning is that over the years weve noticed the sales and service staff have an extremely low turnover rate. That alone says volumes in my opinion. When you go in be sure and ask for Terry or John.

I have been purchasing from Home Living Furniture for a few years now and have had nothing; but, a great experience with every purchase. The service has always been beyond reproach. The quality of the furniture was just as I expected and reasonably consistent with what I paid. Unfortunately, it seems some have not had the same experience; however, one gets what they pay for. As a business owner myself I must admit that I havent been able to make everyone happy. Its simply impossible to accomplish. Nonetheless, I would recommend everyone stop at Home Living Furniture before making any final purchasing decision anywhere else. Whats there to lose? You just might find yourself writing a review consistent with mine!

We went to Home Living in search of stools for our new kitchen. Barbara was so helpful, understanding what we needed. She suggested a certain stool, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed to complete the look we were going for. She took her time with us, and we did not feel pressured to make a decision at that moment. Now that our kitchen is completed, we will be redecorating our family room. I am anxious to see the suggestions Barbara will come up with to assist us. She has such a flair, knowing the pieces that will compliment each other. Barbara is a lovely person, and I look forward to working with her again very soon.

Deepak was amazing! Understanding we were a young couple just starting out on a limited budget, he worked very hard to find everything we wanted! They told us if someone comes in and says they were referred to them by us we get 5% of what their order was. So if you like this review and buy something please tell them my name! (If you notice all the reviews from a few years ago are the poor rating and all the recent reviews are 5 stars. Clearly this store realized the negative reputation they had a few years ago and completely turned it around!)

We had a wonderful experience in the store with a thoughtful and intelligent salesperson who took the time to ensure we found what we wanted. Upon deliver, our furniture was not delivered to our satisfaction due to several scratches and a faulty drawer installation. However, upon calling the store we were told it would all be replaced or fixed. The replacement furniture came in a timely manner and everything was fixed 100% to our satisfaction. Thank you very much for correcting this issue ensuring that everything was taken care of!

My couch is pretty earning this place one of the 2 stars. It took forever to be delivered. Maybe 10 weeks or so. Ive had my couch for 2.5 months. I just washed the cushion covers and it completely unraveled and now has a giant hole in it. Our previous couch was washed every three months with no problems and it was a floor model from a less expensive store. Im disappointed to say the least. I did buy the extended warranty so they are replacing the cushion cover which is why I am giving them the second star.
