If I could give less than one star I would. We first started with ordering a living room set that was on display. Since it was a Saturday we were told that it would be taking off the floor and sent to the delivery warehouse by Tuesday the latest and that the ottoman was on backorder. We went back somewhere around a week later and ordered a bedroom set and we noticed that the couch was still on display. We asked when it would be sent there they couldnt give us a definitive answer and we reminded them that we were moving into a new house very soon. Our salesman ( forget her name ) assured us we would get it it by the time we were originally told. We believed her. I wound up having to go to the store about a month later and pick up the couch so we had somewhere to sit at our house, still no ottoman tho. We then proceeded to buy a bedroom set which they told us was also on backorder and it usually takes 6-8 weeks. The 6-8 weeks comes and goes and the only response we got on well over 20 phonecalls to the company and warehouse was its still on backorder I will call you back. Main person who we spoke with was Tammy from the warehouse, she is horrible at customer service and her job. After the 120 days where we could cancel it without having to pay the 30% restocking fee, I called to cancel it and the lady who answered the phone ( not Tammy) was very apologetic. The very next day they called to miraculously tell me the bedroom furniture was in and they would take off $1,000 if we changed our mind. We didnt seeing as we got a bedroom set from Bobs, which we got less than a week later. Shockingly we received the refund check in a prompt timeframe. This whole ordeal went from early March to mid June. Back to the ottoman which we still havent received. We called them up regarding it several times from the time we cancelled the order til today ( 8-2- 2017) and got the same answer of let me look into it and well call you back. Today, my fiance actually gets ahold of Tammy and tells her that we said we would pick it up, which we never said. Tammy would not let my fiance talk and when she asked Tammy if she could talk Tammy said no and hung up on her. When she called the store back, she got another woman who said Tammy was busy and when she told the other lady that she just got off the phone with Tammy, the lady said Tammy doesnt want to talk to you and hung up. She tried calling back and the line was busy. I then tried calling back 6 times in a 10 minute span and got the busy signal each time. The place severely lacks customer service skills and Tammy needs to be removed from her position of authority. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Go to Bobs, better selection, nicer stuff, and more reasonably priced. Contacting the Better Business Bureau is our next step

The experience was horrible!! I never received a refund for a mattress that was "not on the truck." I explained that I had to cancel the order and find a mattress somewhere else, since I was having guests that weekend and needed a mattress. They agreed, but never refunded the money. This was after the mattress was never included in a prior delivery. Also tried to return an accessory to a bunk bed that did not fit properly in the room. After much back and forth, I agreed to a return with a re-stocking fee. When I received word that my final order was being delivered, I drove 1 1/2 hours the night before and cancelled 2 sppointments to ensure that I would be there for the delivery. When Icalled to confirm the final balance, I found that neither refund had been applied and I would have to call the next day. The following morning I was told that my delivery had been cancelled!!! When they called me later, the original quoted balance had gone up $500! I am done!!

After losing everything I own in Hurricane Sandy, the rebuilding process was difficult. As I put my home back together, I choose Seaside Furniture as my choice furniture store. I traveled and shopped everywhere comparing patterns and style available to make sure my home is exactly what I wanted, which is one of the ways of dealing with the devastating pain of losing it all. Well first off, let me say, the sales people are not pushy and they have a low everyday pricing guarantee so I was able to decide without pressures of buying based on priced, which is nice being this is all custom order to my sayings, which was a big deal when I was selecting fabric my couch along with the wood finishes for all the bedroom sets and dining set for my entire house! I qualified for the financing and had everything delivered 6 weeks later. Ive never been so happy with my new furniture!

I have to say "what a wonderful experience" shopping at Seaside Furniture. Great selection of all the newest styles. I was able to get exactly what I had pictured in my mind! A light grey wood finish with stylish Moraccan print and I was able to add those touches to in each piece so my whole house blends together. Absolutely love this place and highly recommend anyone looking for great quality furniture! The delivery men went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I love having company to show off my new furniture!

PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN NEW JERSEY REALIZE THAT WE ARE PROTECTED BY A LAW CALLED NJ STATE CONSUMER LAW. WE HAVE 3 DAYS TO RETURN, OR CANCEL A SALE YES, EVEN A SPECIAL ORDER SALE. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS.......DO NOT SHOP HERE OR THEIR OTHER GELCO STORES. THEY WANT TO MAKE A LIVING SELLING FURNITURE BUT DO NOT HAVE ANY CLUE ON HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE...
