Never in all my years of living have I had a worst experience. SECURITY PLEASE WATCH THE CAMERAS IN THE BAKERY SECTION. The 11 years Ive worked in the city of Glendale I have never. As I overheard the page while picking a loaf of bread I looked around to see of I was alone. I noticed a woman behind the may bakery counter and another afro american male in the bakery section. I asked the gentleman that looked like he had better days if he has money to pay for his items? He replied yes, I asked are you sure because I will pay for your items? He replied yes. I then dropped everything I had in my arms onto the floor! I demand a manager. As I went in search for a manager the other gentleman continue to shop. I could not find a manager but I did manage to find the one cashier that they had left her register to watch the other African American male shop. I seen the went to her register and asked her to get me a manager. she asked me what happened and I told her about the page and about her actions. She swore up and down that I did not hear of the page. She swore that I was hearing things. She then informed mean that there was no manager available yet there was a supervisor. I spoke to what appeared to be a stock person that they tried to pass off as a manager. They got a personal chewing out. This is not the end of this saga. I will speak to a manager. They no longer have to worry about receiving my money.l!

not happy at all....bad service, employees are in a rush to get people out of the store, store management, store supervisors, and all around employees from all the "departments" (if you can find one) are not customer friendly at all....I try to shop here due to the fact that its the only store close to where I live and this is just a bad store....only 3 registers open and almost 50 customers waiting to get charged!!!!! no good customer service at all...I would rather go to sprouts farmers market in Pasadena, I heard they offer the best customer service and they have what I believe is called "the yes program" dont know much of it but sounds interesting....this vons is just not good at all and I think the store manager needs to run his store more better and efficient

This review goes more for the crew at Starbucks rather than the employees working at Vons. I went there yesterday hoping to get a frap and spend some time with my dad before work..yet these employees took forever!! I arrived there around 5:12 and got out around 5:40ish. The guy making the drinks didnt even get started on my drink till I had gone closer to see what was going on. He didnt even apologize for the wait! No thank you, nothing! I forgot to mention we had to wait before even getting attended because the employees were too busy talking amongst themselves. Worst Starbucks ever! These kids should just stick to school and wait till they are more mature for a job, smh.

Horrible !!! I had to do a western union and called this store to see what time western union would open ... an employee at this store told me 10 am ... I took the train. from Palmdale as I had business to do in Pasadena and wanted to take care of my western union first ... I go into the store at 10 am and was told that NO ... the person who does western union wont be in till noon ... WHY did the employee lie and tell me a different time ? .. if you dont know the answer .. dont lie about it .. I WILL NEVER GO INTO THIS STORE AGAIN ...

This Vons is a good size and has a great selection. The staff have been really friendly (one person watched my basket when I grabbed my bags from my car, lol). Unfortunately we live in LA, so a good store has long lines. This Vons always has long lines when I am there, despite numerous checkout lanes being open and the fast and friendly service. That said, when Im in the area I go to this Vons for my grocery needs.

this Vons is always super busy especially around 5pm, Which i know most supermarkets are, but they dont even act like they care to hurry up. the cashiers are slow and do nothing to keep the extremely long lines moving. many registers are not even open which is super frustrating when your waiting in line under a 3s a crowd sign!!! Just buys, poor managed store!!

Too many displays blocking the aisles, many "deals" require you to buy 3 or 4 & if you cant carry that many, youre paying double the price for each. Never enough cashiers working, lines usually at least 6 deep. 15 items or less rule is never enforced. In store music is offensively bad. Serious management problems.

They ran out of something I needed. Worst part is they had me on wait in front of the store while they were checking, supposedly. Checks out the employee was on break and wasnt really checking out the inventory. I wasted my time their and confronted the manager about it, but they didnt seem to care.

Pretty nice store with good weekly deals. But, often the check-out lines are so long because they only have one or two cashiers open and no self-checkout area. This becomes especially annoying if youre just picking up a couple small things that you need and not a full shopping trip.

Ive shopped here for 10 years. The checkout wait time is a JOKE. There are "3s a crowd" signs at every register, and at least 8 people in each line. Always understaffed at peak times. Ive abandoned a full cart at checkout and shopped elsewhere because it was such a joke.

VERY CLEAN, STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL ,HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOINING VONAGE CLUB......THEY ALSO HAVE A MINI STARBUCKS INSIDE!!!.......BEATS THE STARBUCKS ON 919 S.CENTRAL( DO NOT RECOMMEND!) THEY ALSO HAVE A U.S.BANK INSIDE THAT OPENS TILL 7P.M. & ON SUNDAY!!!!

Is horrible never enough cashiers always long lines. It doesnt make sense just like when you go to the bank never enough tellers. I hardly never go to Vons because of that. I only go if l have too other then that l wouldnt recommend to anybody.

Ive been here 5+ times and lines are always 4-5 people deep. Far more expensive for Ralphs for no real increase in quality. Limited produce section. Theyve been out of several brand name items a few of the times of come here. Go somewhere else!

This store has been my primary grocery for several years. The people are really nice, accommodating even my crappy jokes and bad moods. (Yes I need bags. To add to my collection of thousands. None of which I have with me. Again.) Dammit Janet.

Their freshly made breakfast menu was surprisingly good for being only 2.50. I had the Ham breakfast burrito and it was possibly the best 2.50 Ive spent on any breakfast item ever. Shout out to Raymond

Its a good store with lots of deals. The staff are friendly and helpful but there arent enough of them. Their spices are kind of pricey as are their fruits and vegetables. Although the quality is good.
