The market is slowly growing on me. Friendly associates but I dont like the fact that they will have something for a limited amount of time and the its gone forever. They had gluten free cornbread mix that was excellent and they stopped carrying it. There was an slip n slide type of product in the ad but when I went to purchase they cancelled the shipment so no store received it from what I was told. They had gluten free ravioli my son and I both loved, went back and it was gone. No where in site or returning. Went today to find gf bread because they had it before and it wasnt there either. Since they have taken our Ralphs and neighborhood Walmart and super king or Baja dont offer many gluten free items, they should stock up on these things because our community is fairly trying to live a healthier lifestyle with the gf options. I think its a disservice to not have more options or things that come and go so often. However, I do enjoy the household items, plants, etc that not all other stores in our community carry. It can be a one stop shop depending on what you need.

I dont understand the checkout. The girl (TAMARA on the receipt) was there in an office chair scanning and placing things in a shopping cart right next to her in the child seat. After shes done its up to you to take your stuff out and bag it from the cart but DONT take the CART! I already had my things in my reusable bags so she violently inverted my shopping bag and dumped all my items out breaking my cookies! WOW was that really necessary? Then shes precariously holding all your items in her lap while shes trying to scan them. uhhmmm whats wrong with you?! You couldnt take them out one by one and scan them as you put them in your cart? and they are NOT allowed to bag your groceries, only UNbag them. I feel if they had at least a landing for your groceries after they were scanned all this HOT REDIC mess could of been avoided. PLEASE FIX

I have shopped at Aldi while living in four states over the years. It is the best grocery store for your staple items and occasional incredible finds! There are amazing health foods hidden throughout the store at mind boggling prices. If you do not like an item... thats fine... return it for their double back guarantee! Literally! You get a replacement product and your money! I drive 30minutes from Hollywood and fill up my cart for less than half what I would spend elsewhere! I can buy groceries for my family and not have to step foot in some nasty place like food for less...

Aldi is its own unique experience. Kind of ugly, kind of weird, but sprinkled with amazing deals on a wide variety of goods. Love their bacon, which is already a bargain at $4 a pound, but imagine the day it is only $1 a pound... Or when blueberries are $0.89 a pint when the same brand is $3 at Vons. Many similar items to Trader Joes, some comparable and some not. Almost all the food is some version of their house brand. Easy to lose an hour there. It has become one of my regular shopping stops.

Own brands (like cousin Trader Joes, often from the same vendors) so narrow selections, good quality; a very few familiar brands, unexpected features (deposit a quarter to release a cart, so NO cart-herders) may upset some shoppers. Some serious Deals on their brands too. Getting used to it, still better than a (CLOSED PERMANENTLY) Ralphs next door. I like it!

Small store with very specific products. No-name brands that come close to the brand name products as far as quality and taste. Bag your own groceries. You can find incredible deals sometimes like 89 cents for chicken leg quarters (5lb. bag) or 10 cents a pound for zuccini. Or even 25 cents for a big pack of strawberries.

very cheap and clean. They could add some small baskets for those who dont want to do large shopping. They should also add a counter for a customer so the cashier dont need to put the shopping back to they cart.

They finally came to Altadena area ❤️ it! Love the give a quarter get a quarter back for the carts. just have to remember have a quarter on hand when you go there and shop and bring your own bag!
